View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: 2015 on the video. Iowa News says it's over, her family gets $2 million and Ofc. Jesse Hill goes back to work in Burlington Iowa. She had just spent the night in jail over a domestic dispute with her husband. Ofc. Hill was escorting her to pick up some things at the house since she was not to have contact with her husband. She started beating on the husband as Ofc. Hill tries to break it up and the dog jumps on him. IMO, he is one of those guys scared of dogs and he shoots at dog hitting her and she dies. That is the whole story. OP tries to get people riled up on police shooting a civilian when the story is much broader than that. It's play stupid games, win stupid prizes sort of thing. All in all, a big dose of the juice would have been better than gun fire, that is my living room judgement in my lazy boy chair sort of thing. Found a cop. What happened before doesn’t matter. At the end of the day, the idiot murdered a woman while aiming for a harmless dog. Everything matters. None of this would have happened if she had not started the chain of events. Everyone there was a dumbass. I feel absolutely nothing for stupid people that cause their own demise. Even Officer Dog Killer. You did not find a cop, check your crystal ball for malfunction. |

In Mobile Alabama, Heart of Dixie and all that, a 250# black campus police office sat at his desk behind a locked door in a campus police station. University of South Alabama. 2 or 3am
Suddenly a completely naked 135# kid started banging on the door yelling incoherently. He was gesturing to the police officer. The officer couldn't understand what the naked kid was trying to say. The 250# armed police officer was so afraid for his life, he didn't call for back up. He didn't stay inside the locked police station. He didn't grab his taser either. He was so afraid for his life, he thought it was best to leave the protection of the locked police station, go outside and shoot the 135# naked kid dead. Then he called for back up. No charges were filed. |

He even got some "treatment" from the paramedics on the scene to make it legit. The video evidence from his body cam shows only a dog wagging his tail and no barking. Sounds like severe retardation was infecting the family. I didn't watch the video and I don't want to. Can anyone verify what the article says by watching the video? View Quote The video is not too graphic and not too clear, but clear enough to show that none of that actually happened. The cop murdered the poor ignorant lady because he responded improperly to the threat. Then he let her die face down in the snow as he cried out that he was going to jail, before he finally started doing CPR. If the dog was really a threat, why didn't it "continue" to attack when the officer was on top of its owner doing CPR? Surely a protective dog wouldn't just stand their wagging its tail while that went on. It would have been all over the cop. |

Quoted: should he lose his career and pension over an accident...idk I whole heartily believe he should no longer be allowed on patrol in the future not only because he has shown he is incapable of making basic life or death decisions involving his duty weapon would you risk a child's life to avoid getting bit by a dog? but also, will he be able to react in a situation in the future without doubting his actions therefore putting everyone involved at risk(like his partner, or surrounding civies) desk job and early retirement View Quote Help me understand why he shouldn't loose his career and pension over an accident? In most other walks of life if you have an accident it can frequently end your career. As a tax lawyer, forget to file your client's taxes on time, that will end your career. Truck driver get into an accident? That may or may not end your career, depending if it was totally unavoidable or not. But here, it's more than just an accident. It demonstrates he doesn't have the judgement to be an officer. He can't handle a stressful situation. He can't handle a gun. He can't render first aid. He can't tell the truth about what happened. Why should he be given a desk job rather than getting fired and he can get a job at Home Depot or something. If he is unfit, why should he stay a member of the PD? |
