I haven't read every reply but I will say two things....
Police officers can receive the police officers medal of valor for similar circumstances that would warrant the MOH... However..... Civilians or soldiers from other nations can receive the congressional medal of honor for heroic acts in war, or I suppose acts of insurection. FML if they received the latter. It will come with a monthly pension of $1,500 per month, tax free for life, paid by the VA. |
