Quoted: When was the last time a foreign country’s aircraft was shot down in US Airspace? Isn’t this pretty monumental? View Quote As far as I know, the last time was (ironically) a Japanese balloon in WWII (but that may have just been Alaska, so not really US mainland at the time). So, yes…this is historic. |

So thats it?
What about the other balloons? I thought there were three. All of the information that they had has already been transmitted back to china anyway, surely their plan wasn't to just to fly the balloon around and then land it back in Beijing. |

What. A. Fucking. Embarrassment. We let China violate our airspace. Fly over numerous sensitive sites likely picking up all sorts of intell on the way. As it leaves our airspace and heads to international waters, we drop it with a fucking missiles so it crashes fast and destroys anything we can learn from it? I mean, common sense says use the guns and let it slowly descend. This is a complete an total failure at every level. Nothing here was done right. Nothing. I don't know what we could have done worse. This country is beyond fucked.

In addition to allowing the ballon to loiter over Malmstrom, it passed over, or near, Whiteman AFB.
Our priorities apparently are financing Zee and diversity briefings. What a GD shit show |

The media whores and their pimps in D.C. will do everything in their power to cover for the pedo pres. and paint this as him being a great leader. There will be no further humiliation than has already happened. Protect at any cost. They will ignore and lie about what this thing has already collected during its flight and say the situation was handled magnificently by senile corrupt Joey B.

Is this the first ever shooting down of a foreign aircraft over US territorial waters ?

Quoted: Don’t see a missile contrail…. Saw the start of one then it switched to the smokeless motor. Not sure why they aren't all low smoke motors, maybe not enough push? Does this still leave one over Montana or am I just slow in the news? Seems they intercepted it on the wrong side of what they're supposed to be protecting. |

China is laughing their asses off right now they were allowed to go from Alaska Canada and the central United States all the way to the east coast and now its on the way out now it’s disposed of ! what a joke this government is of course Biden is just a puppet and is doing what he’s told to do this sensor array should have been downed in Alaska

Heard through the closed door of the oval office, "Ring, ring... Oh, you guys got all you wanted? Can I go ahead and have it shot down now? You know where to send the check, right?"

The important portions of this wreckage are MUCH smaller and fell at terminal speed from tens-of-thousands of feet before they sunk to the bottom. |

Have chicom "spy balloon" launched to float over the US 1a. Have second detractor balloon sent over some inconsequential land mass (i.e.- S. America) 2. Ponder shooting it down over US soil but opt not to for the sake of his beloved countrymen. 3. Wait for it to loiter across the US (and actually collect data) and over the Atlantic 4. Shoot down chicom balloon as EVERYBODY in the US and abroad is watching it live stream (well, with a 2min delay, just in case) 5. Pound chest in heroic stance and reap the rewards of NOT being a chinese puppet. 6. Sucess! |

Lol at the replies.
Combat Sent hoovered up everything there is to know about what was being transmitted. Hardware recovery would have been nice but it was seemingly decided that the juice wasn't worth the squeeze. |
