You had my interest until I saw the frame safety.
Hard pass on that, looks like a Glock fucked a Beretta. |

It's like a PX-4, but worse in every way.
It's cool that it exists, I guess. |
|
Does it come with rich, Corinthian leather?
Aargh..... beat by a few seconds. |
|
The design is of Czech origin, not CZ UB, though. Slightly redesigned... Found it.. CZ G2000- Arms Moravia, not CZ Uhersky Brod.

A hammer fired gun with slide mounted safety and a heavy SA pull with a heavy, heavy DA pull.
They are where other manufactures were several decades ago. But is has a polymer frame. So they are only about two decades behind one of Beretta’s languishing, unpopular platforms. But I ran around SA plenty, including Colombia in the lates 90s and Mid 2000s. I don’t think there is a mil base or national police base I did not make it to. I would buy one if available. |

Well, the slide design is nice. I don't like the frame, and the grip area in particular. I'd rather stick with a Glock for obvious reasons.

A great achievement of Colombian engineering?
I think the girls from Medellin take that honor. |

Looks a little bulky, but I like it. A slide-mounted safety doesn't bother me.
Reduce the trigger weight, and I'm in. |

All you Corinthian leather guys know that came in a Cordoba right?

Where's it going to be priced? Because for me to be interested it would have to be significantly less than a Beretta PX-4 and those can be picked up on sale a couple of times a year for $399. And if you time it during one of Beretta's rebate periods you'll get freebies back from them, I got two free magazines and a mag pouch when I bought mine.
Honestly, what's the market for this pistol outside of the Columbia military or the neighboring country's military? A quick scan of Colombia's gun laws suggests that they're not going to be selling very many to their peasantry unless they chamber it in 22 LR. |

Don't recall offhand but well over $1,000, probably closer to $1,250 View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |
