I like the LC9s for size.  The trigger is good, sights are good.  It may lack the grip ergonomics of some of the others, but it's main job is to stay concealed, and it should do that well.

PPS, but make sure you get the extended mags.

It's just too small.

It wasn't so much me picking for her as much as she's never CCed a gun, and baring an entire wardrobe change I don't think she could hide a PPS.
The thing that worries me is that it wouldn't work with most of her clothing, and she would never want to carry it. I've been there done that.

I'm not much bigger than you and carry a G19 in a mtac. I usually wear jeans or shorts with a t shirt or Polo. It's even easier with an unruffled button down.  If I'm wearing gym shorts I carry a CM9. The key is a good holster and play with the positioning and cant. I carry at about 5:00. My wife usually pats my hip to see if I'm carrying.

I think you'll be surprised how easy it is to conceal with a good holster and clothes that fit.

Kahr CM9.

Just like the PM9, just a little less refined and therefore more affordable. I've got one and I love it, paid $250 for it used and it's my EDC.

I highly recommend PJ holsters

You need a small pistol for deep concealment. You don't need a small pistol for every day carry. I say Glock 19, Glock 17, or an equivalent product from S&W, Springfield, etc.

Hell, my first CCW was a Glock 21. I only own a Glock 43 for my "lazy" carry gun.

carry what you shoot well, dress accordingly.

FWIW, my wife is 5'4" 135(ish) and she carries a ruger sp101 appendix and it is invisible..

All are good guns, get the one that fits your hand the best.

I had a PPS for a long time. There weren't many good single stacks around when i bought it. It was very accurate, but a little heavier than the others you listed. I sold it to get a single stack Glock.

The Glock is the easiest to clean and is the perfect balance between weight and small size.

If you get the LC9, get the Pro S.

That post wasn't aimed at you. It was mostly aimed at the tards here who will give terrible advice based on zero experience, especially with anything woman related. My wife chose a G43. I added Trijicon HD sights and she is GTG.

how much experience do you have shooting pistols? I ask because Concealed weapons are a compromise with a shorter sight radius they are harder to shoot well and lighter weight and size can make for snappy recoil. So  there is that.

What you need to do is find a range or ranges that have these weapons on the rental program and shoot them. Pick the one you shoot the best. because in the end thats is the only thing that matters. getting hits.

Gook Luck.

My choice is  American mande Smith and Wesson Shield or even better a third gen Smith 908 or 3913 etc. Proven weapons and very nice shooting weapons.

Out of those listed, I like the PPS and/or PM9.  That said, what works best for me might not for you.  Shoot them all and make the decision based on the shooting.

I said shield for the choices listed. However I don't think I could live without a J-frame also. I can stick it in a coat pocket or my pants pocket if I must. But daily I do carry a shield.

I have found that most women end up not carrying on their hip due to clothing choices, but everyone is different.

Oh really?

You can also run the Compact without the pinky extension to reduce grip length, and the addition of swap-able backstraps is a very nice feature.

Plus side, now my wife only buys purses that have an easily accessible compartment for her pistol. For reasons I am thankful for, LV and D&G don't tend to incorporate this

So, a Glock?  Because nothing about the 1911 is "best"  for anything more than a range toy anymore. This isn't 1915.
