I like the LC9s for size. The trigger is good, sights are good. It may lack the grip ergonomics of some of the others, but it's main job is to stay concealed, and it should do that well.

PPS, but make sure you get the extended mags.
It's just too small. |

Quoted: Go shoot them all. Try them on if you can. I really like the G43. That being said there are some other good choices. Don't let anyone pick your gun. View Quote It wasn't so much me picking for her as much as she's never CCed a gun, and baring an entire wardrobe change I don't think she could hide a PPS. The thing that worries me is that it wouldn't work with most of her clothing, and she would never want to carry it. I've been there done that. |

I'm not much bigger than you and carry a G19 in a mtac. I usually wear jeans or shorts with a t shirt or Polo. It's even easier with an unruffled button down. If I'm wearing gym shorts I carry a CM9. The key is a good holster and play with the positioning and cant. I carry at about 5:00. My wife usually pats my hip to see if I'm carrying.
I think you'll be surprised how easy it is to conceal with a good holster and clothes that fit. |

Kahr CM9.
Just like the PM9, just a little less refined and therefore more affordable. I've got one and I love it, paid $250 for it used and it's my EDC. I highly recommend PJ holsters |

I plan on carrying 3 o'clock. So it'd have to meld with my hip. I also want it to be smaller because SOs concealed is full size and the grip digs into my hip. It's about g19 size. You need a small pistol for deep concealment. You don't need a small pistol for every day carry. I say Glock 19, Glock 17, or an equivalent product from S&W, Springfield, etc.
Hell, my first CCW was a Glock 21. I only own a Glock 43 for my "lazy" carry gun. |

So the best thing about being 21 is getting a concealed. I want a PPS the Mr says shield. Which do you think would be better? FWIW, my wife is 5'4" 135(ish) and she carries a ruger sp101 appendix and it is invisible.. |

All are good guns, get the one that fits your hand the best.
I had a PPS for a long time. There weren't many good single stacks around when i bought it. It was very accurate, but a little heavier than the others you listed. I sold it to get a single stack Glock. The Glock is the easiest to clean and is the perfect balance between weight and small size. If you get the LC9, get the Pro S. |

I ask because Concealed weapons are a compromise with a shorter sight radius they are harder to shoot well and lighter weight and size can make for snappy recoil. So there is that. What you need to do is find a range or ranges that have these weapons on the rental program and shoot them. Pick the one you shoot the best. because in the end thats is the only thing that matters. getting hits. Gook Luck. My choice is American mande Smith and Wesson Shield or even better a third gen Smith 908 or 3913 etc. Proven weapons and very nice shooting weapons. |

Out of those listed, I like the PPS and/or PM9. That said, what works best for me might not for you. Shoot them all and make the decision based on the shooting.

You're about the size of my wife.
Good luck concealing *anything.* She has a P238, but carries off-body. Arguably less ideal? Maybe. But it's a hell of a lot better than no gun at all. |

I just got my wife a Shield 9mm. VERY nice to shoot for such a small gun...much better than my Kel-Tec PF9.

Of those choices, I voted Shield.
BUT, try a M&P Compact (non-mag-safety version for CC) as well before purchasing any of the above. |
|
I said shield for the choices listed. However I don't think I could live without a J-frame also. I can stick it in a coat pocket or my pants pocket if I must. But daily I do carry a shield.
I have found that most women end up not carrying on their hip due to clothing choices, but everyone is different. |

I carry a P938 and my wife carries a Shield....She prefers it to the SIG

For reasons I am thankful for, LV and D&G don't tend to incorporate this |

Of your choices, I would pick the shield.
However, what do you shoot the best? |
