I could care less, but if someone wants to make some money with an invention...
Backpack air compressor (like a backpack leaf blower) to power an air rifle. Go design it and patent it. |

Living in the communist state of Great Britain I am limited in what I can have firearm wise until I emigrate
I like my SIG MPX though it is 177 not BB and great fun to shoot accurate too |

As fucked up as NFA and Hughes had rendered the MG market, and people’s infatuation with shooting machineguns, I’m really surprised pneumatic full-auto isn’t more of a thing. I think a well-made, reliable select-fire airgun would be market-viable at as much as 3-5 hundred bucks. View Quote |

Quoted: I have the A.I.R. 17 and a 760 Commemorative model with wood furniture. Along with the 357 CO2 revolver with 4, 6, and 8" barrels. I also have a Daisy Beretta 92 CO2 pistol. There also is a Crossman Target 38 that needs a part (help wanted) I have had the sickness since I was 12 or so. View Quote |

The NRA sent me a coupon code for $20 at Pyramid air, so I used it for buying this.
It should be a fun toy for the visiting family to play with on Thanksgiving =) |

Man, I've got some squirrels that would have a pretty steep learning curve if I suddenly showed up at the back door with one of those! Looks fun

Sure beats the shit out of the Crosman Pellet gun I had as a kid. Anyone remember the AIR 17? https://www.bakerairguns.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/DSCN7304.jpg , And now for cheap indoor practice, and to shoot at shaving cream cans, definitely I want the new one. |

Any reason why BB guns can't be run off a lipo battery pack like airsoft? I just hated CO2 guns growing. Leaked, constantly swapping out new canisters after 50-100 rounds, inconsistent performance due to weather/other factors, etc.. Using a battery pack is so much better in every aspect...and you can recharge instead of constantly burning through cartridges. Figured a lipo batter would have plenty of juice to power a piston/fire a bb. View Quote Why don't manufacturers just replicate AEG airsoft guns, but with .177 steel rifled (or smoothbore if necessary) barrels instead of 6mm smoothbore? Steel BBs weigh about .30-.35grams, which is just about the same weight as the heavier 6mm plastic airsoft pellets, so I would think the same feed and firing mechanisms could be used, minus things irrelevant to steel BBs, like hop-up systems. Reloads would be just a LiPo battery recharge, and magazines could hold pretty huge quantities even vs airsoft magazines due to the smaller diameter. AEGs run what, about 250-400fps? With the higher sectional density of .177 BBs, you'd get better range than with 6mm airsoft pellets. Granted, only Daisy Red Ryder velocities and not the same top speeds as CO2, but high rates of fire and no CO2 freezing up, no annoying trips to make refills of CO2 bottles, etc. For just blasting cans and other targets, I think that would be far preferable. |

Quoted: That gun was awesome. Though it was single pump and the dudes with the 760's had 300 fps more than i did, it was a great piece. We used to tape roman candles under the pump to simulate a 203, and kept spares in the buttstock compartment. Then again, we would get arrested for half the shit we used to do with bb guns back in the 80's. , And now for cheap indoor practice, and to shoot at shaving cream cans, definitely I want the new one. Even more fun, jb weld a small pistol primer to a copperhead bb. they are the same diameter. You need a breach loader like a crossman 760 with ten pumps. Get some targets with a hard surface. Wear eye pro. |

Quoted: Mine has been just fine. I've only run 700 - 800 rounds through it so far. @wayward_texan had a problem with his that he was able to repair without too much trouble. I haven't had any issues with it leaking CO2. I leave it loaded so I can harass the tree rats with it, and so far every time I've put it up with loaded CO2 cylinders it has fired without incident days or weeks later. Just ordered a Crosman DPMS SBR today from Midway on sale for $149.99 with free shipping. I also spoke to someone at Crosman about why they don't have spare magazines available for purchase on their site. He said they would be adding them to the site soon at $38 each he thought. He said both the SBR and Spare Mags were OOS but they were expecting both to be back in stock in the next week or so.
You should be able to get an additional 25% off using code AGNATION and they do free shipping on Fridays for orders over $150 so the SBR would be $150 after discount and the mags $28.50 unless he was wrong on the price of $38. |

If anyone is still looking to buy one gun probdeals has them for $137.00 plus shipping.
Bought one for my daughter for Christmas from pyramid air on Black Friday and paid $145 I think. The gun feels great and looks good. Looking forward to shooting it Christmas Day. Planning on setting up 10 or so balloons on wooden stakes in the back yard with meanguy faces drawn on them and letting the 8 yr old mow them down. |

Oooh. They have a Beretta 92 copy. Just as un-ergonomic as the original!

@Hyperformer, I couldn't resist!
This BB gun looks awesome too |
