The allergies that I'd had since I was 9 or 10 just stopped bothering me. Went through a 2 year allergy shot program from 11-12 and it had absolutely no effect til I was in my mid-late 20's. Since then nothing that drove me nuts when I was kid bothers me. No hay fever, no pet dander, no pollen. Weird.

Left CT for good. Took a job flying a crappy cessna around the country, then moved to Dallas flying a pilatus. Got my ATP and flying a CRJ. Not too bad. Drank my fair share, banged some ugly chicks. Not much to complain about.

@Sparkvark A thread on this would be awesome, too. Especially with pictures. Gotta preserve individual history in warfare. View Quote I'm on the road so pictures will have to wait. Don't know if I have any really worth posting. The most memorable imagine was a mission one night about 3 am. I was escorting 10 B 52's and 18 F 111's attacking an oil storage facility north of Bagdad. The imagine was surreal. A B 52 drops 70,000lbs of bombs with each F 111 12 to 16,000lbs. Now picture the explosions on the ground. Now picture all the secondary explosions of all the oil tanks exploding. Now add the anti aircraft fire. The best way for me to describe it is to take all the 4th of July fireworks you have ever seen and the are all going off at the same time for an hour. Add to that a SAM being shot at me and while I trying to avoid it a 4 ship of Wild Weasels attack the SAM site with 2 HARMS killing it. Good times. |

That was a bit of a dark period for me. Long days and late nights, not enough showers and I looked like a homeless person. Sometimes I would try to spend the night in a library if the librarian didn’t kick me out into the cold. Med school sucks.

OK, so I had a business salvaging missile bases, and that went under, then I had one recycling paper, and that went under, and then I let a guy stay at my house and that led to being arrested and indicted a year later when i was 27 on a third superseding indictment, 174 days in FDC Englewood, a 17 days of trial and having to start all over again.
I was completely exonerated, btw, my only connection was it was my property. |

Had my first son, promoted to Sgt. at 27, then Det. Sgt at 30.
