I saw that the other day and thought, that lizard could easily eat a full size man. I wonder if that has ever happened? Probably yes.

There are videos out there where they eat a deer alive a bit at a time while the deer screams. Scary shit.

that looks like the fake movie dinosaurs of the 80's. The movements are way off.

I think they eat hogs and cattle, larger prey are probably not all in one gulp.

I wonder if you can hunt those things whatever they are? Thinks to self: "I need to go on a safari and I need a BAR in .300 Winny."

It’s obviously not married or a female would be fussing at it like my wife does when I eat a whole donut

Saw a vid months ago where a monkey got caught, fought for a few minutes, other lizards join and rip its head off. Not a guillotine head rip, more like 3-4 seconds. You would feel your blood vessels, veins, arteries start to rip for a brief moment.. Not a good way to go. |

The video does have some weirdness going on in the movement.
But looks real to me What is up with the kid noise in the background? |

Plus I don't think that's how lizards eat their prey. If it is small enough they will swallow it whole. That was a tiny deer. Either a fawn or some small species. Probably less than 30 pounds. |
