Quoted: Pac boots Midweight winter boots Uninsulated boots Cowboy boots Light brown dress shoes x3 Dark brown dress shoes x2 Black dress shoes x3 Burgundy dress shoes x2 Dark brown loafers Light brown loafers Desert boots Casual but nice shoes x2 Running shoes Lifting shoes Boat shoes Sandals Yard work shoes Slip ons for when you just need something to wear to run to the store and such So, yeah, more than 7 View Quote Embarrassing, but with a few deletions and additions I'm pretty much here. In my defense, I've kept (and resoled many times) some of the boots for over 40 years. |

Do slippers and waders count?
2 pairs of Redwing work boots 2 pairs of sneakers (beaters and nice) 2 pairs of dress shoes ETA 3 pairs of hunting boots so yes, more than 7 |

Yup because mother nature changes her mind every hour or so in VT. I also bring my lbt 3 day bag in the work truck.
What's in it depends on the season. |
|
Absolutely.
1 pair of sneakers 2 pairs of dress shoes (brown/black) 2 pairs of slippers (one for inside, one for outside) Uncountable number of surplus boots |
|
Quoted: Do you currently own more than 7 pairs of footwear? View Quote Yes. Multiple boots (different needs), cleats, soft shoes for casual wear, dressier shoes for work/suits, 'slides' for around the house, etc. Is this a "I have two pairs of shoes, one for work, one for church, LIKE A MAN" thread? |

Number of pair of boots for working here around the property.
Number of steel toed boots for when I go out in the field for work. Casual shoes. Dress shoes. Real dress in black and brown, semi dress in black and brown. Cowboy boots that some places subs in for dress shoes. Hiking and backpacking boots, two pair. Adds up. I don't do crocs but often wear slip on sketchers around outside if it's not raining. Have a couple of pair. |

Yes, because I never throw anything away - I have clapped out vans from 1989, for example. I also have snow boots inherited from a dead relative (no snow here), and a handmade pair of boots that belonged to my grandfather (we have the same sized feet).
|

Yes, if you include the footwear for all of the various activities I'm involved in it is likely 30+ pairs. Ski boots (touring and resort), ice climbing boots, mountaineering boots, double mountaineering boots (for high altitude climbing), dive booties, running shoes, rock climbing shoes, approach shoes, various work boots, cycling shoes, etc it all adds up quick.

I have more than 7 pairs of Salomon's in reserve.

|
|
Yeah I'm definitely not one to talk shit about women and their shoes
|
|
I probably have 7 pairs of just hunting boots. That reminds me, I have an almost brand new pair of merrells I can’t wear. I need to find a homeless guy that wears size 12.

Every day sneakers
Red Wing boots Crocs for around the house Old junk sneakers for mowing the lawn Dress shoes for funerals and weddings Ice fishing boots Hunting boots Motocross boots Street bike boots I think that's it...Work boots and sneakers are 99% of what I ever wear. |
|
Probably twice that many, I don't throw nearly enough shit away.

Daily shoes that get replaced every six months to a year, current pair gets shuffled to "house shoes", old house shoes gets shuffled to trash.
Two pairs of boots, lightweight and heavy. One pair of flip flops, only used when travelling, basically shower shoes. Running shoes that get almost no use these days. So that makes six. Back when I was still riding, I'd also have track boots, touring boots, and lighter summer boots. |
|
Not anymore. I used to but I have not bought any in years and some have died.

Never really thought about it. Let's see here:
One pair of Oxfords, cap toe (funerals and job interviews ) Two pairs of heritage boots (my daily go-tos when wearing jeans) One pair of cowboy boots (rarely worn, and due for a resole) One pair of zero drop, wide toe box "barefoot" style sneakers (when exercising outdoors, or wearing shorts) One pair of "gardening shoes" that quickly slip on and off, for getting the mail, taking the trash & recycling cans to/from the curb, and shit like that. One pair of goofy looking fuzzy house slippers (bought as a gag gift), that I'll occasionally wear in the winter. So right at 7 pair, I guess. Used to be a lot more. |

I've got three pairs of decent work/formal shoes
I've got one pair of casual work shoes I've got two pairs of sandals/boat shoes I've got three pairs of running shoes I've got one pair of indoor shoes/slippers I've got three pairs of boots for rucking, yard work, snow, etc. I've got one pair of biking shoes So yeah, I guess I have 14 pairs of footwear. That's more than I thought it would be. |

Warm weather hunting boots
Medium weight hunting boots Cold weather hunting boots Pack boots Steel toe work boots Square toe boots for whatever Nice cowboy boots for dressing up a bit Nice sneaks for whatever Old sneaks for yardwork Sandals for pool/beach Merrell hikers for hiking Fancy black leather shoes for formal events Motorcycle shoes. My wife gives me crap about it even though she has more than I do and I actually wear all of mine in a rotation (task dependent) where she buys a pair and wears them once or twice ever. |
|
I've got more than seven pairs of US made cowboys boots in just one particular hide/skin.
ETA, was just thinking while showering. I'm pretty sure I got around ten or so of Tony Lamas, Dan Posts, etc. (all older US made) in just Teju - my all time fav in that particular hide is a Tony Lama example from around the 80s that is unbleached/not colored - just the natural varied color of the lizard, which looks super cool IMO. |
