I have no sympathy for people that put everyone at risk to race around on public roads like some teenage faggot. Fuck that guy.
Sucks for the innocent bystanders caught up in the mess. |

There's worse ways to go at 71. The only thing I desire more would be like death in battle defending my house or death by re-entry to earth's atmosphere from space I think I can contemplate option 1 and option 2. Option 3 seems like the loser of the bunch. A glorious way to die, for sure, but somewhat unfun. |

Hi yes I left the fucking earth powered by controlled explosions.
That got kinda old because of the lack of food so I came back. Sadly my math was slightly off so I died in a visible fireball. |

Ferrari Split In Half, Driver Dead Following Multi-Vehicle Canyon Crash | Silverado, CA |

Quoted: What does a Ferrari cost? Crazy for anyone to spend that kind of money on a frickin car that holds two people when I could buy any number of other trucks that actually carry and haul a useful load and still have money left for more guns and ammo and hookers. View Quote Lol, you have a screen name of a plane that holds what like 6 max people? Talk about a waste of money and fuel when you could obviously have a real plane that will deliver more people and equipment. |

This thread isn't going at all like I expected. Usually when some dude dies operating expensive machinery, they are talked about like some kind of god-hero. That B-17/P-63 interface (surprised the Nat'l flags weren't lowered in their honor), that aeromed Lear (IIRC one member got banned because he corrected a pilot on the proper definition of an explosion), etc.

View Quote so, skimming through this I see at 2:27 and roughly 4:17 you see close ups of the tire on the back half that is in the ditch. It appears that is was flat spotted and doesn't look like much tread to begin with, but I am not expert on the exotic car tires... was the driver under that yellow thing covered with debris to keep him covered? |

From the outside looking in…both the Tesla and the deceased are assholes.
I would love to see what actually happened. We’re they already at 100 mph when the Tesla started to overtake? Did the Tesla try to pass too late and then pitted the old guy and sent him into oncoming traffic. Did the old guy just plain have a car that passed up his performance behind the wheel. Highly doubt anyone but the Tesla will know…unless a few dash cams happened to catch it. From the looks of it he was well over 100 and then played pin ball between other cars and the sides of the road. |

Driver was identified as the “victim “ of the crash? Wasn’t he the progenitor of the crash?
|
|
“Ferrari crash”, eh?
I recall someone bitching on a Porsche forum about if you happen to crash with a particular brand car the headlines highlight the car brand. Thus if this guy was driving a honda accord this wouldn’t even make the news. |

Quoted: Old people have the money to buy and do cool shit? View Quote Just as a boxer ages and retires due to loss of hand eye coordination and reaction time the same goes for everyone else. Its better off to leave high performance equipment to those with the reaction times that can handle it. I'm also a firm believer that driving tests should be readministered at 70 then again at 80 and 90. |

Also Michelin Pilot Super Sports are only 6/32s new and not grippy below 40 degrees or so. |
