The best are whole anchovies in oil and various peppers with chili flakes...very fine

Have you tried it? It's much easier to integrate the flavor of sardines into the flavor of other toppings than it is anchovies, which basically say "fuck you other toppings, I'm all that matters". View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

If you're going to add an anchovies, you need something acidic like pineapple and tomatoes to balance it out.

I chop them up and snort them.
Give me a seisure salad without them on it and it goes back. |

Love anchovies on pizzas and salads. Also, mashed up with finely chopped onions and a little vinegar and spread on Saltine crackers. Are you Protestant? Only reason I ask is they're the only people I've heard derogatorily refer to seafood and shellfish as "bait".

I don't mind it. It is NOT a favorite. I won't seek it out. But if you put an anchovy pizza and a pineapple pizza in front of me, I'd eat the fish. Pineapple is not supposed to be warm. View Quote It still does not belong on pizza. My wife puts it in stir fry which is hit or miss. |
