Thanks for the info. So in that video what would you say was going on? View Quote Each of the 60/81/120 systems have a sustained rate of fire from roughly 20-30 rounds per minute. Realistically it's hard to meet or exceed that rate of fire, because the gunner still has to keep his shit dialed in. I'm not 100% ruling out the hot tube might have set it off, but it was most likely smoldering shit in the tube that I mentioned above. |

Heh.. BTDT, it's all fun and games until you run into a really good pkm gunner.. That really changes what you are willing to stick outside of cover from that point on.

...“I never get what I want,” roared a petulant Army after opening its final present. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel tried to soothe the complaining service.
“Calm down, Army,” Secretary Hagel said, “You know I really wanted to get you those new future combat systems, but since I had to spend so much money on Air Force’s F-35 for its birthday last year, I didn’t have much left for you.” “They’re not even using it anymore,” a sobbing Army replied, inconsolable and unconcerned with budgetary issues. The Marine Corps scowled as Army folded its arms and pouted. “What are you whining about?” the Marines asked. “All I get every year is a message telling me how special I am and how cool my uniform looks. Besides that I haven’t gotten jack shit. Ever.” Army Chief of Staff General Ray Odierno tried reasoning with Army, reminding the service that it got it some special new presents. “More sexual assault training? Budget cuts? What the hell kind of presents are these?” Army fumed. “And what’s with the crates of tampons and maxi-pads for my infantry battalions? I don’t remember asking for those.”... View Quote |

SPACE — While training with the inaugural class of the recently announced U.S. Space Force, sources say Lt. j.g. Tyler Shoelaces got lost during a navigation exercise and wandered into a wormhole. According to Space Force officials, the introductory class “Space Navigation: 101” is a simple navigation course conducted just a few thousand miles above Earth’s surface. However, radio signals from Shoelaces’ ship indicate he drifted at least half a dozen light years outside the Solar System. “I swear I was supposed to take a left turn at Neptune, but now I have no idea where I am,” transmitted Shoelaces just seconds before slipping helplessly into a rift in the spacetime continuum. “I don’t know. My lensatic compass is going bonkers.” Instructors say they were worried about Shoelaces’ abilities after he accidentally locked himself in an escape pod prior to takeoff, but decided to let him try the course anyway. “If anything I’m impressed,” said Cmdr. Dean Workins, an instructor at the course. “Honestly, we weren’t even positive that wormholes existed until now.” At press time, another lieutenant had emerged from a dimensional rift stating that after a journey through nearly infinite expanses of time and space he had finally found the keys to his spaceship.
