He came and did a TV episode in my hometown and nobody had anything bad to say about him. Once cameras rolled- total 180 and TV persona came out.

Quiet, well spoken, and was very nice. The TV part is an act. He plays it up. At the same time, he counsels the people which doesn't always end up on TV. |

I'd bet one of them bastard crows behind the McDonald's can feed 3 adults.

Four and twenty black birds baked in a pie.
That is the thought that came to mind when I heard Rook Pie. |

Hell, he'll go out of his way to help people. A couple years back he even offered a guy a job during his Reddit AMA after a short chat. The guy was burnt out and talking about giving up on cooking. Ramsay told him to call one of the restaurants he owns and he'd bring him on to see if it helped. Gordon is on the short end of people I'd love to meet. |

Missing eye pro (especially for the son).
Other than that very cool vid. |

Watch the British shows he is in. Very much like a tough uncle but not the yelling hiss fit Ramsey you see on American shows.

I think they're a little different. In Europe they have both Crows and Rooks. Yes they're all corvidae but so are Ravens, and that's a pretty different bird. Rooks look like small crows, Ravens like big crows. Also if I'm not mistaken both Ravens and Rooks are smart enough to make and use simple tools... They'll bend wire into a hook to get at food.. Crows IIRC are kinda stupid. |

Crows IIRC are kinda stupid. wrong. those British rooks are retarded. You would never be able to just walk up and shoot multiple American crows. I've heard that you can detach the bottom of a crow's tongue and teach them to mimic speech, like a parrot. I've seen crows band together to support an injured member of the flock, and refuse to leave until the injured crow was ready to move. we also had a flock of crows attack and chase off a red-tailed hawk that was after my wife's chickens. |

Most good chefs know where their ingredients come from. They also know about freshness and butchering. Organic meat and tasty cooking go hand in hand.

fun tidbit about Ramsay is he trolls vegetarians pretty hard on social media, quite amusing to follow sometimes

I ate pretty much anything with a pulse growing up and learning to hunt, but thought crow was bad mojo.

I love crow hunting and have cooked a fair share.
American crows are not stupid by any means. They are smart and there is no way you could traipse through a woods and shoot them from a tree like that. We use crow calls and owl and crow decoys to bring them in. Drop one with a suppressed .22 and let it flop around near the owl decoy and get the shotguns ready! Once a few are wounded they go berserk and if they spot you will dive on you and attack. It can get hairy. But it's worth it. Wisconsin even has a crow season. |

Hunt it, kill it, clean it, eat it....
I never give a 10 so, 9.852, well done. |

Don't know about rook, but American crows are extremely intelligent.

Pepper your Angus Gordon! You spend a lot of time around the bleeding heart Hollywood/London/Manhattan crowd to be murdering innocent birds.
