I like his ideas, but he's never run shit, never been an executive. I think he'd be a mistake, put him on as a VP or something.

The top 3 will be branded by the press as extremists early on. So they'll be out, as will Huckabee, Palin, and a few others. Then the press will allow the field to sort itself out as the primaries come up. Once the field is narrowed, they'll pick the candidates off one by one for various reasons (Carson? Nice guy, but he's a doctor..... Doesn't know anything about running a country, can't have him running).
So we'll wind up with a shit sandwich of 2 or 3 RINOs, and 1 conservative, who at the last minute will be discovered to have some kind of disqualifying skeleton in his closet. So he'll be out, and it'll be Tweedledee, Tweedledum, and Tweedledumber left to duke it out with Hillary, Warren, or some equally horrible candidate. |

Fat Bastard and Sanatorium beating out Rick Perry was a big surprise.
Looks like Perry is going the way of Howard Dean. |

Better get a sex change quick. Next POTUS will be a woman. As Romney proved, the white male vote is no longer enough to win.

Looking at the Gov/Former Gov list, nobody has a Prayer, Scott Walker can win the Primary easily.
Someone tell the Fat Guy to get his ass back to Jersey and do some work |

From 2007 until 2012, only two men won the CPAC straw poll.
Mitt Romney and Ron Paul. So what does it tell us, exactly? |
|
I went to CPAC for years. It isn't a good cross section.
Can't believe some cunts still go for Santorum. |

Multiple other people on the list worked in government for their entire careers. I'm having a difficult time getting excited about yet another career politician. Rand Paul or Ted Cruz is the correct answer; the rest don't interest me at all. Coincidentally (or not), it seems Paul and Cruz are the only two names who the Republican establishment finds absolutely unacceptable. |

The straw pole does not mean anything. The Paul's pack pole with supporters and generally win. When push comes to shove and votes really count for the Presidency they only get enough votes to insure the Democrat candidate victory.
