And you have a bunch of electronic stuff - computers, HAM, musical mixing equipment - you know how to use. Hence, nerd. Put the 2 together, and you are one of our biggest nerds. Now, put on your pocket protector, and go earn dat chedda, yo! |

For those looking to get into that game, I always recommend a trial run with a really big dog first. Then a largish dog with a territorial, sharp temperament. Then, if they can safely train and handle both of those, try something like a Tibetan Mastiff. The TMs are a scaled back version of the CO and CS. Slightly smaller, usually, and not quite as inclined to eat someone’s face off. If they can safely manage and train a series (not a one off, but several) of TMs, and are still interested in one of the Caucasian breeds, they’re probably ready to handle it. Beyond the ability of most people to safely handle. Neat dogs, but more than I'd want to get into Another aspect people don’t figure on is the grooming. There’s a lot of brushing involved, and most people don’t really put in the time needed to manage the coat. So it gets matted, and you quite simply can’t take them to a groomer. They will not let strangers do invasive, uncomfortable things to them, and they have enough ass to back up their threat. |

Right about there, yeah. Most people never venture beyond that point. They either screw it all up, or they decide they’ve gone far enough and don’t need to keep going. And really, that’s about where I am. I simply don’t need anything more than that. I could probably handle something more, but I don’t need it, and I don’t want to. I’ve met a few TMs that were really cool, but most of them aren’t anything i’d want to handle on a daily basis. I just don’t need that in my life. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
