Enjoy your questions under oath, assholes:
Washington Post
A federal judge on Tuesday ruled that State Department officials and top aides to Hillary Clinton should be questioned under oath about whether they intentionally thwarted federal open records laws by using or allowing the use of a private email server throughout Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state from 2009 to 2013. The decision by U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan of Washington came in a lawsuit over public records brought by Judicial Watch, a conservative legal watchdog group, regarding its May 2013 request for information about the employment arrangement of Huma Abedin, a longtime Clinton aide. Officials with the State and Justice departments said that they were aware of the order but declined to comment further, citing the ongoing litigation. Discovery orders are not readily appealable. An attorney for Abedin declined to comment. Sullivan set an April 12 deadline for parties to litigate a detailed investigative plan--subject to court approval--that would reach well beyond the limited and carefully worded explanations of the use of the private server that department and Clinton officials have given. Sullivan also suggested from the bench that he might at some point order the department to subpoena Clinton and Abedin to return all emails related to Clinton’s private account, not just records their camps previously deemed work-related and returned. “There has been a constant drip, drip, drip of declarations. When does it stop?” Sullivan said, “This case is about the public’s right to know.” In granting Judicial Watch’s request, Sullivan said that months of piecemeal revelations about Clinton and the State Department’s handling of the email controversy created “at least a ‘reasonable suspicion’ ” that public access to official government records under the federal Freedom of Information Act was undermined. Loretta Lynch was forced to admit it is not a Security Review in a televised congressional hearing. Loretta Lynch is being pressured to appoint a Special Prosecutor. She has refused saying the FBI is taking action with a full investigation. If FBI Director James Comey recommends an indictment and AG Lynch refuses to act, then Comey and other FBI official resign under protest, then Loretta Lynch will risk impeachment in her remaining year as Attorney General. The fact that a federal Judge has now ordered Discovery to occur in a Judicial Watch lawsuit that will allow access to the 30,000 emails that Clinton claimed were personal and that the FBI has reported they are able to recover means that Clinton has more to worry about now than she did previously. This may very well open up the Clinton Foundations records to investigators. The judge has supposedly ruled that Huma Abedin's emails are now supposed to be released also. This won't be over when Obama leaves office if a republican is elected. At that time the case will still remain open and Loretta Lynch as a public political appointee will immediately leave office and all US Attorneys in the DOJ are expected to tender their resignations. At that time, a republican appointed Attorney General will be selected and new federal US Attorneys will be hired who will be in charge of any prosecution. If a Republican president is elected a prosecution will go forward unless Kasich was the president. The only way Clinton could avoid it? A preemptive pardon by Obama as he leaves office for the entire Clinton family, including Chelsea and all of Hillary Clinton's aides. |

"If the FBI makes the case that Hillary Clinton mishandled classified information and put America's security at risk, will you prosecute the case? Republican Congressman John Carter asked Lynch during a budget hearing. "Do you know of any efforts underway to undermine the FBI's investigation? And please look the American people in the eye and tell us what your position is as you are the chief prosecutor of the United States," Carter pressed. They follow the evidence, they look at the law and they'll make a recommendation to me when the time is appropriate," Hmmmmmm, does she sound a little scared? Sounds like she wants nothing to do with it. There might be an independent prosecutor in the future for this. "National Security Defense attorney Edward MacMahon, who routinely handles classified information as part of his case work, said "Lynch appears to be sending a message that there is no need for a special prosecutor because she has assigned career Justice Department lawyers, and not political appointees, to work with FBI agents on the Clinton matter."" Oh, I know she doesn't want one. She could just drag it out until after the election. If Clinton is elected, Lynch could retire and it wouldn't be her problem before Clinton is sworn in. Then Clinton appoints a new AG from he close group of toadies and the whole thing goes away. A republican gets elected? Lynch is going to tender her resignation anyways as political appointees do and she has the cover that the next AG has the responsibility to go forward. Often, when a republican administration takes over they decide to not prosecute misdeeds of the previous democrat administration to promote a time of healing for the nation. But Clinton left the administration and is currently a private citizen and the Republican citizens of the US want her to be held accountable. I think a couple of her aides might be thrown to the lions along with the government employee who set up her server and was paid by her to do so, then he took the 5th. He might be the sacrificial lamb led to slaughter. If a republican get elected and the FBI forwards an indictment after Obama leaves office, she may get prosecuted. If, a big if, Obama didn't sign a pardon for her on the last day in office and then hand it to her as he leaves the White House. Does it need to be officially publicized? Or could she just keep it secret and pull it out the day the US Marshals and FBI show up at her door to take her down to the federal court in New York to charge her before the court? |

I would "THINK" that the possibility of a Presidential Pardon is close to becoming toxic....
AND, Obama might feel that pardoning Hillary will damage his reputation in the future more than he's willing to risk..... What ever "HOLD" she has on him might NOT be enough....Or, he just won't care..... Can HE pardon himself??? OR, if he "FEARS" Her, could he resign in December, allow Biden to become president, so Biden can Pardon Obama, and not Hillary, that might take the wind out of her sails..... What do you think??? |
