I've had my license for eleven years and had two trucks. The first one was a shitbox that died once the cold weather started but started right back up come spring and the second one I've been driving for ten and a half years. I am hoping to get another truck this year while the current one is still in good shape.

I don't remember (some had very brief lives, others have lasted over 12 years), and I don't remember (I started driving on tractors when I was so young Dad taped wooden blocks to the pedals so us kids could work them).

Just about 15 years. 8 running cars. 1 project that never got off the ground. 1 parts car. 1 car that was bought with intent to fix and drive, but I got a better job, bought a decent car, fixed that one and sold off.
Running cars in order: 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS (crashed) 1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T (major issues, sold off after it died and I couldnt afford to fix it) 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS (blew engine) 1996 Mistubishi Eclipse Spyder (bought for $1k not running, fixed and drove for 3 months until new job-sold off for a good profit) *after the car mentioned above* 2002 Acura RSX Type S (traded in) 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee (traded in) 2007 Mazda 3 (traded in) 2006 Chevy Trailblazer (current) |

I got my license and first car 28 years ago. I've had 18 cars and 2 motorcycles titled in my name. A few of those have been purchased for and driven by my wife (5) and daughter (2), but I bought them, titled them, insured them, maintained them and occasionally drove them.

My Honda Accord was acquired with 32k. I drove it to 195k, then 'sold' it for pennies to my buddy who needed a vehicle. He drove it to 235k before using it as a trade-in |
