I wouldn't stop pushing that button.

Edit: wait a minute, I didn't read the directions.

About a quarter million random people die everyday globally. What's a few more?

Good karma > Bad Money

But if karma is real, that means that the people who were "randomly" killed must have done something absolutely horrible to deserve it.  So you shouldn't feel too bad.

That's kind of the whole point of karma - to remove the guilt of treating people like shit.  It's the key to making the caste system work.

In all seriousness, I wouldnt push it.  I'm sure that it would kill someone in Arfica, India, or China, at least statistically speaking and I'd never know. But I wouldn't want to have to think about that shit the rest of my life.

Lol right....because being poor would bring an instant cure to their misery.

With my luck I'd push it once and kill myself.

I am pretty sure Ford did this with the Pinto.

Trading a known X number of dead bodies for x profit rather than fix the bad design.

I changed the rules because the OP's version is stupid.

New rules, the ones I played by:

Every push of the button kills one random person. One and only one per push,  never more, never less.

Every push of the button gives you 10X more money than the previous push.  The first push gives you 10 dollars and kills one person.

So I kill 15 random people worldwide and end up incomprehensibly rich, 1000x+ a trillionaire.

I then use the riches to undo much of the evil in the world.   Kind of a Thanos scenario, but far more selective of whom is eliminated, and why.

It'd go badly for communists, socialists, and those who strongly support those things.   With unlimited funding, the conservative armies I'd raise and train would run roughshod over their enemies and the rules of engagement would be "Kill all that oppose you and don't sweat the details".  It'd be ugly, violent, brutal, and an utter bloodbath, but when it was over the sun would rise on a world free of the evils of socialism and communism.

The general rules for all to live by from that point would be fairly simple:
Do no harm to others against their wishes.

Mere possession of anything, even weapons, is never forbidden to any free man.

Punishment is only for ACTIONS, not ownership of a THING.

Education is free up to the high school level,  beyond that point you must earn it by scholarship or paying tuition.

For those who intend to enter service to the government, the government will pay your post-secondary tuition as long as your academic performance meets with good performance standards.

Laws are adjusted so that free trade is not restricted by unnecessary regulations that restrict progress or give economic advantages to some organizations while locking others out.

Voting is an EARNED right, it is not automatic, nor is citizenship in any country.   There is no birthright citizenship.
Citizenship is earned by two or more years of civil or military service rendered to the country you declare allegiance to.
At the age of 18 you may declare said allegiance, to any single country of your choosing.
If you are not IN that country, that country will pay to have you brought over after you volunteer for service with it.

After five years you may switch allegiance.   You may switch allegiance every five ears if you choose to.

Immigration law is strict and consistent for all countries.  Illegal immigration is punished by ten years at hard labor for the first offense, with no compensation save for the prison clothes on your back and the subsistence food you are fed daily. (Boring, but nourishing.)   Second immigration offenses are handled with a quick trip to the wall full of bullet holes and posts to tie you to.   There's no fucking around with illegal immigration.

Crime and punishment:  This is controversial.  There is no imprisonment save for short term holding cells.   All punishment is either death or a set number of lashes delivered across your back via a whip in skilled hands.    Some people don't mind taking a few months break in a not-all-that-bad jail cell.  But people will go to great lengths to avoid doing stupid shit that gets their back flayed open several times.    Yes, corporal punishment works, and we'll use what works.

Only the truly insane will be confined.   Corporal punishment or death will deal with all criminal cases in which case the mental status of the criminal is not in question.

I don't get it?  Why even continue to have countries and defined borders if you are just going to have mass globalization and act as the global overlord?

Seems like an easy way to give the world a reset. Anyone that pushes it more than 10 times effectively wipes the slate clean for everyone.
