This storm could get interesting. Pray this thing stays in the Atlantic.

And motoring right for Bermuda. It'll be a biggun' Hope it stays a fish storm. |

In for all the people calling doom who will missing when it forms into something nasty.

Almost all of the tracking shows the storm headed out to sea. That's happened quite a bit this season.

What I saw about it yesterday says it will stay in the Atlantic.

GFS has it brushing the edge of Long Island, and going to New England and Canada.

Exactly. Pretty much zero chance it will hit the mainland. |

25+ years ago, only mariners and surfers knew about such storms. Now, it's catastrophe theater.

It'll probably hit the Gulfstream and turn north on it's current track(also the current high pressure over the Rockies that might help push it back out), unless it turns pretty soon to get in the Caribbean and comes through, south of Cuba.

View Quote Yeah GFS shows Cape Cod getting hammered. We haven't had a hurricane since Bob 30+ years ago. |

Central east coast trough is going to pull it closer to the east coast . Still to far out to tell though

Lol all the people acting like storms don't happen and wreck parts of the country. It's a week away there's no real certainty on anything right now

Might as well get it over with since I have the saw tuned up and haven’t finished cleaning up all the stuff left from last weeks hurricane yet.

High pressure system moving from west to east across the SE. By Friday a line from Mobile AL, thru the middle of GA, SC, NC and VA. That is what will keep the storm offshore. Hopefully.

The Franklin Hurricane that puttered around the middle of the Atlantic last month was a pretty big and well defined for a storm in that area.
It's been a warm summer and I think we are eventually going to pay the price with a few big landfalls. |

We're going to need another tropical storm to catch up on our rainfall deficit.

My Grandma can tell some stories about Hazel, I saw the aftermath of Hugo. I worked in Floyd, Sandy, and Matthew. I despise hurricanes.
