Quoted: A few years ago Buick imported and sold a station wagon, the Regal TourX I think it was...as God is my witness, it was the only GM vehicle I have ever considered actually purchasing with my own money. Even the fact that it was a Buick didn't really dissuade me... View Quote @Evil_Ed my dad has one. I actually really like it. I think it's mostly German if I recall correctly. Also, I want this Benz. I have a 95 Caprice Wagon, Chevy Impala SS Wheels, Lowered, plus a few other goodies for it.....
I'm in a huge debate as to keep it, sell it, or keep it and Throw the Camaro 6 speed into it.... (I KNOW that's what I'm supposed to do). The 6 speed WAS supposed to go into either a 94-94 Caprice Cop Car or same year Impala SS..... I have pretty much all the parts to do it. The 4.10 gears are in the Cop Car, so I'd have to get new gears for the wagon....Or go with 4.56's.... The body's pretty straight, it's been Arizona for years...... Too many toys, not enough time/money....... I'd rather have a CTS-V Manual Wagon, but, you can't find any of them.... |

Quoted: The epitome of the station wagon was the Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser. It was so humungeous, it had a skylight. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/191316/oldsmobile_jpg-2694796.JPG View Quote Lol. Those were the small end of the Olds line in the 70’s. 98’s and 88’s were mid and full-sized. So funny how our perceptions have changed. |

Quoted: VW should make an R version of the Alltrac. View Quote They are supposed to be doing it. Don’t know if it will come here but I heard their President say he wanted to do it. I put an ECS Big Brake kit and H&R springs and Bilstein B6 shocks on mine. Lowered it a touch—.3”. I still think it needs a sway bar because it still rolls too much. Better tires will be going on and help too. |

I had one of these when I was a junior in college. It was free, but it was not cool. Not cool at all. Replaced it with a Nova Hatchback, which carried a lot of shit without looking like a granny car. Attached File . ETA: Currently driving this, which is essentially a station wagon. Attached File |

Quoted: Holy grail car https://ranwhenparkeddotnet.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/audi-rs2-avant-16.jpg Audi RS2. 315 hp turbo I5 tuned by porsche, awd, 6 speed stick station wagon from the mid 90s. Probably importable by this point, but I don't have that kind of coin. Had a 9-2x wagon, currently have a GTi hatch. Grew up driving my parents Passat station wagon at times when my car was broken... And doing unspeakable things to my girlfriend in the back with the seats down. View Quote One of the biggest scores I ever had getting a rental car was in Paris. I was driving my dad up to Normandy (he hadn’t been back since his .gov-sponsored trip in’44…) and the guy at the rental counter said, I can give you a Passat wagon but, alas, it’s a manual. I was like “I drive a manual at home”. He was impressed and we got a Passat turbo diesel wagon with a six-speed to drive up. It was awesome and I’d have one here if our commies would allow it to be imported. The biggest score at rental car roulette was getting the brand new Lexus LS400 in Cincy for a layover. That was sweet. |

Wife drives this. About a year ago we shopped MB wagons, had one sold from under us just as we came to terms, then we came to our senses. This car is 13 years old, has 100K miles on it and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. It's been garage kept and the paint still shines. A wagon is an extremely practical car. I have two trucks, but I like driving a car occasionally.
Not a V. Attached File MB we came with five minutes of buying Attached File |

The German hot rod wagons are the best, I would gladly have an E63 or RS6 wagon.
I'm glad that BMW finally decided to make the M3 into a wagon but I'm bummed we won't get it over here in the states. |

I love wagons and 4 door sedans. Owned lots of them. Because I am a lesbian, my current ride is a 2005 Outback 3.0R LL Bean wagon. The 6 doesn't have head gasket issues. it rides great, and handles better than you'd think. I put BC Racing coliovers on it and lowered it to standard Legacy ride height. I can fit 3 55 gallon drums in it with the hatch closed. I's great not having to worry about packing a vehicle to make things fit.
