I was at the grocery store yesterday and two guys working in the meat department looked really high.
One of the boys was loading small packages of meat into spring loaded bins and was throwing the small packages in the hole making a shooting sound ever time one hit in one of the holes then he would go, "DING"! Lol Other places too like the guy who fills my propane bottles down at the gas plant. Lol some more. But, I don't need that shit. I am reality. Has anybody noticed this too? I can't believe that in Texas it's still illegal to possess with so many people doing it now. Thanks in advance. Go! |

Lots of people walking around smelling like weed. Happens here in Tennessee where we are not a free use state. Every major city that I've been to in the last 2 years the smell is inescapable.
|

I see it a lot at gas stations. Sometimes in retail as well. From the short time I spent working in a big box store, I can't say I blame those people for being high at work...

I honestly think a lot of people are not normal anymore . I see it driving , in stores , just about everywhere . People just didn’t used to act like they do now . No consideration at all for others in public it seems .

It's "illegal" in Texas, but almost unenforceable from a financial standpoint in most jurisdictions.

Try going anywhere in Michigan, fast food especially. I stopped at a McDonalds in Michigan a couple months back on the way back south to Indiana because the kids were hungry and I wanted something fast. Every single employee was out in the grass next to the parking lot smoking weed. We left immediately, and didn’t bother stopping anywhere else until we were back in Indiana. Damn Michiganders and their pot needles.

I have a coworker that loves to toke it up.
He's an ok guy most of the time. But you know when he's had a toke during the day. Because he turns into a prick. Acts bipolar as fuck when he is high. |

Seems like everyone's high. Step outside and immediately get the stench of a million rotting skunks injected up your nose.
Just today, I watched some stoner almost hit three different pedestrians just trying to back out of a parking spot, completely unaware of anything around him. He rolled down his window and I bet you could smell him from the International Space Station. |
|
Half of the people working at my store are reeking of weed every morning. Management turns a blind eye because they need warm bodies in the building.
Every retail store has similar issues. Nothing gets put in the right spot on the selves. It's a total shit show everywhere. Customer service? Lol, they are too high to care, or find anything. |

The kid bagging my groceries today was high af. Fucker almost forgot my beer. I bladed at 45 and said GIVE ME THAT BEER.

It doesn't matter, man, the customer is also stoned, wow man it's like a symbiosis of something. Just-a-cruse'n.

It's more noticeable now because there are more people.
I was that guy, 20 years ago, like my father before me. |

Maybe a month ago I walked out of Jewel and two workers were getting high right on the side of the building where my car was parked.
It smells like weed frequently while driving, especially by any Walmart parking lot. |
|
I'll be getting high for work on friday.
Got high last week too, but only about 40ft. |

"Quality of life" for the community is often a factor ignored in the legalized weed vote.

The wife is doing a travel nursing gig in Vermont right now. Beautiful state. You can't turn around with seeing a dispensary in even the smallest towns.
Have been up to see her twice in the last month and a half. Flying back out of Burlington, the TSA line will have more than you would expect that stink of weed. |

Weed smell everywhere. Everyone ignores it. Unless they hit me with their car, not my problem.
I'm sure the businesses' liability insurance companies love it. I personally don't understand how people afford it. I know people paying $30ish 10 for "gummies for sleep" via medical cards. They probably go through that everyday. |

It seems like many people are smoking weed while driving theses days. I can smell it when I'm on the motorcycle behind one of them.

In the 1800s the Chinese were ruled by the Qing Dynasty who were a Manchurian half barbarian people called the Jurchen. As it happened the British Empire, and then the French and Americans as copycats, were running opium into China. The Chinese had technologically stalled in the Seventeenth Century and had been outclassed by Western Civilization. But at least the Qing had the dignity to try to fight a few wars against desperate odds to defend their Chinese subjects from the drugs.

Every doper that I knew in the 70s was a space case.
That was when weed mostly came from Mexico and not the high strength pot that is grown now. Would you like the oil change monkey at the quicky lube store to have just toked up and forget/space the torque on your oil drain plug? How about the air traffic controller when you are flying or the surgeon operating on you? I had a tree specialist come to drop some trees once. When he got out of his truck I could smell the weed. He forgot to tie a rope to the first limb he cut so his ground man could lower it to the ground after it was cut and dropped it smashing my fence. I guarantee you he wouldn't have forgotten to tie it off if he didn't smoke that dope. |

His wife and I went out to dinner while he sat in a room waiting for the surgeon to finish another job. We sat down at the restaurant and before we had a chance to order they called her to let her know he's be going into surgery in an hour, so we left and stopped at a Tex-Mex place to grab something to go. Both the counter guy and the manager were so stoned they could barely speak, let alone comprehend how to deal with the coupon the lady in front of us was trying to use. I finally had to step up and practically grab the manager by the collar and ask him to move to another cash register and take our our simple order. I support people's right to get as high as they want at home, or on the beach, or anywhere else where their obliterated minds can't fuck up responsible people's lives. But going to work so high you can barely build a burrito is just plain stupid. |

I mean with de-criminalization or legalization going on in half the states I would venture to say more people are probably smoking yes.
But honestly I think a lot of you guys have zero clue what someone stoned actually looks like. For example. I have a co-worker that is probably the biggest Karen I have ever met. I have had to explain to him 3 times now why snitching is fucked up and if our co-workers are actually getting high at lunch then A, someone from management will undoubtedly hit them with a random, but its not his job to be a junior G man and run and narc to our bosses about people he has absolutely zero proof of doing anything. And I keep trying to tell him if he ends up costing someone whose worked at the same job for 20 years their job over weed, well he's going to get fucked up. See he's one of those straight edge fags that has never smoked or drank and has absolutely zero clue what someone on drugs really looks like. The irony is all of the people he's name dropping, and talking shit behind their backs aren't even the ones doing drugs. I work in a factory so to say there's a fair number of people who are get stoned is an understatement. But I frankly don't blame them. If I had to stand in a hot ass building for 10 hours turning wrenches bolting shit together with no music or anything to distract you from the brutal repetition and piss poor pay that job has. I mean do you really care if the guy your paying 15 bucks an hour to stand in a tyvek suit running the primer station has a buzz? If that's how he has to survive his day then whatever, no skin off my ass. Seems like MYOB is a skill not taught anymore. |

I see it a bit with cashier type workers.
Honestly though, for every 1 person I see obviously baked at their job. I see probably 10 that show very obvious signs of opiate use at theirs, with stuff far more dangerous than cashier duties. Same can be said for driving. I see way more people that think it’s ok to pop some prescribed opiates and get behind the wheel than I do people obviously stoned/smelling like bud. |

here in NY its rampant.
Weed seems to be the worst of all problems. The weed heads think "Its just smoking" and smoke anywhere and everywhere, treating weed likes its tobacco. And then there's the "its likely less harmful than alcohol", so they are at it alll the time. Wanna blaze up a bit on a Friday night and party? have at it. The problem its, even most of the alcoholics know its not acceptable to be drunk at 9;15 a.m. on a Tuesday morning at work. But hey, the weedhead has been blazing since 07:00, and he stoned out. The weedheads treat it like cigarettes, lighting up on the hour.... Its a rare alcoholic who toddles into work, and takes a 20 minute martini break at 08:00, 09:00, 10;00, etc etc. Alcohol is socially acceptable, but within loose limits. Cigarettes are the same. There are accepted times and places when its viewed as "okay". Some are treating weed like its tobacco, and taking a big ol blunt break every 40 minutes because its "just another form of smoking" and totally ignoring everything else. There are apparently two kinds of weed users. Those who treat it like a nice bourbon Manhattan on a Saturday night by the campfire. Perfect. Blaze away. And then there ar the chronic users, who combined the absolute worst of the two pack a day cig smoker and the hardcore alcoholic. These people are useless. The cartoon characature of the stoner dude is based a little on reality: No ambition, no skills, no drive, no use. Total waste of oxygen. |

A Wawa is getting built right beside a Sunoco/7-11 where I get gas.
Was in there a few days ago and a woman at behind the counter was high AF and tweaking out, like really glitching out. Over the past couple of months I think the entire staff has changed over twice, even the manager that was there for several years quit ,he got hired at the Wawa and starts when they open up. Guess he got tired of trying to hire people that he knew wouldn't have a job in the near future. That 7-11 now carries an atmosphere that you gotta be high to work there, because it's fixin' to close very soon. Everybody that works there now seems to be whacked out on something. I hope Wawa has good gas. |
