Quoted: You took a beautiful restored 73 and sold it for 49k and used that money to buy a 2022...Well in 5 years from now, the 73 will be worth 60k, and the 22 will be worth 22k... Man, that is just like buy high sell low...You dun broke... View Quote I don’t have to worry about that. The couple that bought it were awesome Americans. The wife grew up riding in her dad’s ‘73 Bronco. |

Life changes. My mom had a 69' Chevell SS. It was her dream car, But she got tired of climbing out of it and grew tired of the attention when she drove it.
Sold it along with a 2005 Corvette with no regrets. |

Enjoy a new car OP.
I get those who dont understand the OP choice , most because they lack the OP skill set. They cant/don't understand its just another project. |

Bad trade, but you made someone really fucking happy.
Dream vehicle. :( |

Old one was cooler, but the new one is infinitely more practical. Enjoy your new ride.

I really like the new broncos, but I like the older ones much more.
Then again I love old cars/trucks. Hell the newest thing I own is a 2001 F250 diesel, and that's my tow rig. My daily is a 78 Porsch 911 in the summer, winter is just one of the many other vehicles we have. Hope you like it op, that's all that matters. That old Bronco was really sweet though, I love the color. |

Nice Badlands. Mine is being built later this month.
I just attended a Bronco Off-Rodeo…these things are awesome. |

What you did was equally as bad. You will miss it like not other mistake you ever made before. |

I can understand why you did it. I have an 03 Rubicon on 35s all done up. I'm tired climbing into it and tired of falling out of it. Tired of getting beat up. Looking at 4 Runners. I would not even consider a JL or JK, they stopped being a jeep, like the 96 Bronco was the last of its kind. I wanted a Blazer or Bronco of that vintage, but stupid money and I can spend it on a more comfortable rig.

I'll be that guy.
Old ass 4x4s are not as good as new ones. They are not as capable, comfortable, or visually appealing as new. |

Quoted: Driving old or muscle cars is a giant pain in the ass. View Quote Yup. I suspect many of the "You shouldn't have done that" responses have not experienced the joys of driving old ass cars that do everything terrible compared to the cheapest modern shitbox. There comes a point where you just want to turn the key and use the vehicle without having to worry about what is going to go tits up next. IMO cool old cars are like boats and machineguns. You want friends that have them. |

Nice! I’ve a single set of original Bronco Sport kicking bronco trim ( left and right side ) if you are interested in putting the cherry on top.
Let me know! Edit to add…pulled from an original in 1991 ?? |

For 49k, yeah looks like a good deal. I probably would have gone Tremor or Raptor if I was going to buy something else for that money, but I guess the new Broncos are pretty cool.

The reason I love older stuff is it seems to have a sole, where as the newer stuff just works. I enjoy working on my stuff though, and very seldom do I have any problems that don't allow me to drive home. |

I thing new cars are completely lame and pretty much hate them and think it’s laughable what people pay.
Would rather have 3 older broncos that don’t run than 1 brand new one. Even if the new one was half the price. |
