With the amount of ND's/AdD's from handguns in women's purses, it would be scary as hell to go out in public if splodey balls were legal.

If you AD a firearm you may kill one person.

AD a grenade?

I really can't think of a use for grenades anyway.

My grandpa was a coal miner—he insisted around WWII he could get grenades either at the local hardware store for “stump removal,” or via the coal mine.

Says they were $5 & US surplus.

Poor bastard died from black lung in his 50s.

OK, so... if there's ever a time I have a need for hand grenades there will be plenty laying around on the ground at checkpoints.

just sayin'

HA!!

After my first concealed carry class I was sweating bullets in the grocery store. Every one of those folks thought they were Charles Bronson.

Yes. Absolutely. I’d buy a crate.

Played ball back in ‘82.  I can throw a football a quarter-me.  I’m dead serious.  How much you wanna make a bet I can throw a hand grenade over some mountains?

Yeah... if coach woulda put me in the fourth quarter we would’ve been state champions... no doubt... no doubt in my mind.

OH HELL NO!

If I did, it would mean my wife would have access to them too.

Every video game she plays, she kills/ seriously wounds herself with grenades. Every. Single. One. Every. Single. Time.

IRL, she throws like a girl, which means she'd kill herself and me too.

Bubba's grenade training:

Step 1.  Grasp grenade.
Step 2.  Pull pin.
Step 3.  Throw it.

CONUS checkpoints?
lol

I'm sure you know how rare it is for US soldiers to be issued grenades.

The government doesn't really trust anyone with them, but they still accept them as a necessity during serious combat operations.

If we start seeing them at CONUS checkpoints, things will be drastic indeed.

I would love some WP grenades but having handled WP, I know the dangers.

I would definitely build a magazine and buy a bunch of fragmentation grenades if legal.

That’s far cheaper than I expected! I wonder what the cost breakdown is between the fuse, case, and filler.

If legal and reasonably priced, I’d be tempted.  That said, I have no training whatsoever on grenades and I’m old enough to know I’ve come close to hurting myself when fooling around with something I don’t know much about.  Honestly, I doubt I would have any use for one other than seeing one go off in a dirt pit.  Like full auto, it’s probably fun for awhile but you eventually see dollar bills piled up and burning.

This, back when Taginn grenades were available they would have been fun. I've popped a few airsoft flashbangs and smokes from another company and they were pretty fun.

No, from a practical and storage point of view it’s a stupid liability. Like keeping sweating dynamite around.

I would start first with a breech loading cannon for my yacht. Then maybe an RPG like thing, and round it out with parts kit goodness building a few vickers, MP40’s, Thompson’s, automatic broom handle Mausers…..

Really what I would want is a post war South American level gun boat……..

I think that there should be privately owned Armories where you could buy and store heavy weapons.

I don’t think you should be able to own and store HE without a magazine because a mistake could mean a lot of people could die. There should be good accounting for who has it and how much they have.

I think explosives and heavy weapons should be easy to buy, but I think there should be training and storage regulations. I would be cool with state sponsored training courses and surplus programs.

Demolition is one of the things that make modern society possible, everyone should know how to use it.

Thousands of acres of farm land around here was originally cleared of tree stumps by land owners with explosives bought from the local hardware store.

It is a shame that we don’t have a society that is functional and sane.

Who the fuck put you in charge of survival of the fittest?  There is something to be said for letting dumb shits meet their self inflicted end.  I personally believe every American should be issued a hand grenade to be used at that person’s own discretion.  Use your hand grenade and survive…get issued another.  Eventually we will be a country of intelligence and respect.

I’m all for questionable purchases of dubious intent but I’m not about to carry around a fucking grenade.  A projectile weapon sends a single projectile in a single direction.  A grenade sends many projectiles in every direction in the event of an ND.

I’ll pass on the angry baseball.
