F-15B/D or F14, any. Back seat of course, lol. Don't make me puke, OK Maverick?
Once upon a time, my work involved RES, RDP, ECM, and all that that implies. RDP development kinda stuff, here in GA or on-site Huge Air Crash LA, Mugu, Pax, Eglin, beyond. Now, I just fish. |

B-2 or B-XX...fighter pilots make movies, bomber pilots make history.

First Warbird I saw in flight was a P38 that came in a screaming dive down over Phoenix International Raceway. It was the coolest thing I had seen at age 14 and still ranks up there at age 60.
P38. |

Quoted: Love the Skyraider. I often think about how much of a game changer that aircraft would have been had it seen action in the Pacific in WWII - would have absolutely devastated Japanese island defenses like no other aircraft could have at the time. My girlfriend's dad flew them in Nam and he had a photo he took of a North Vietnam flag with big fat tracers coming at him hanging on the wall. One of the best photos I have ever seen. |

When I was a kid, I wanted to be screaming into enemy territory at Mach 1, 100 feet above the ground (with all the "fuck you" that entails). |

C17 are pretty cool.
I thought hypersonic shit like the X-15 would be cool, but I'm thinking of something with a little more comfort. |

Just to fly a couple times? Probably the Bone.
To deploy? Hard to beat a P-3C. Those guys had it dicked... deployed to such hell holes as Bermuda, got per diem while doing it, and flew home for a squeeze half way through. |

A-4 Skyhawk.
They are not current but damn are they efficient and sexy as fuck. A new model run could take care of all our bombing mud hut needs in affordable style. |

Voted A-10 because I could probably fly one without killing myself.
Two turbo fans and a nice straight wing like what I fly every day. Would love a chance to fly any WW2 Warbird though. I've got no business in a 1500 to 2000 HP tail dragger like a Mustang or a Corsair but I could do a nice job in a B25, A26, B24, P38 or F7F. |

1. P-40
2. P-51 3. B-17 4. Messerschmidt BF-109G (Yeah. I know. It's not a US plane, but still...) |

Quoted: Whatever they have in Area 51 View Quote If they didn’t have the Flying Dorito ready to go I’d give them 72 hours to get an SR71 flight-ready..... takes that long to warm the hydraulic fluid in the lines hot enough to flow as a liquid.. I’ll just wait in the hotel till they are ready to brief me. |

For fun like I get to magically fly for a day? F-22
For work like I am magically plugged into a career slot? P-8, KC-46, or C-17... whatever got me the most hours the soonest in big multiengine jets so I can get on with a major airline. |

Poll Fail. No U2 Dragonlady. It would be like a free trip to space. There are YouTube videos of people getting flights in them (including Top Gear/Grand Tour's James May) and they're sometimes brought to tears by it.
HUGE fail, OP. |

Yep point it up and light the touch paper. Must have been a rush. P38 then |

F6F Hellcat. I think a jet would be way out of my league and the F6F is one of my favorites.
