Tensions between #India and #Pakistan have not settled down after the release of the pilot. In fact, tonight is the worst most bloodiest skirmish yet along the LOC and is largely being underreported. Several causalities on both sides, hospitals running out of blood.

The initial report from yesterday on this is that his uniform got a bit shredded in the ejection so they couldn't tell who he was.

For those few reporting on Pakistan-India conflict but are new to it:

This isn't like Syria, Iraq, AFG or Israeli conflicts.

Don't expect many vids, even photos. Despite being democracies, both states aggressively control information. There's a lot of honor & emotions involved.

India was strongly associated with the Soviets to a considerable extent through the Cold War. Technically not a 2nd World country, though, as, IIRC, they were not technically aligned with either side (they also maintained some relationship with the British for a time and bought a lot of their stuff post-independence). They maintained this relationship with Russia after the breakup of the USSR.

FYI: The death toll been given by both India and Pakistan is inaccurate. Both sides are hiding the real number of injured and dead since yesterday's clashes. I'm told by reliable sources from BOTH INDIA AND PAKISTAN that the real figures are higher.
