Fars News Agency ran an editorial - it is widely described by news media to be a "semi-official" news agency of the Government of Iran.

"Trump, who exacerbated the situation by withdrawing from the nuclear deal and imposing severe sanctions on Iran, is responsible for such attacks, and the Iranian who overthrew Jimmy Carter will overthrow Trump in the next election. God knows."

considered invalid or at least rigorously investigated to ensure everything is above board, and that

Could be a delicate situation either way.
No body really knows what Vlad might do
in return.
If it were more than just limited surgical, then
the Russians would look weak for not deploying/responding
for their pact ally also.
I sure everyone that would be involved has already
made contingent plans in all these areas.
The ball right now is really in Iran's court and they
should return it rather softly.
