I wear mine with my plate carrier at my indoor range. I am the envy on the firing line, and mag pouches are great for snacks.

Wear it with your Wish body armor. Don’t forget to keep your offhand on your chest while shooting, and do the 360 spin when done to check for threats. You also need to have several paracord wristlets on. Post the video for us to watch.

Training with kit is always advisable. Training with kit at an indoor range? IDK. But yes, you should shoot with your helmet on, and wired up for comms, and, your gas mask too. You should train with your war belt on, and your PC, and your boots, and be able to do transitional drills.
Probably not at an indoor range, unless it's a sanctioned class. Be forewarned, once you have trained with your kit on, and your mask, and your combat load, and everything else, you won't ever look at it the same way again, and you will look forward to just wearing muffs and foamies like the rest of the world, in the AC, with maybe a chair. |

Quoted: What training is he doing at an indoor shooting range? View Quote To answer your question, firearms training. Practicing the fundamentals of marksmanship: trigger control, sight alignment, sight picture. Doing static shooting drills, mag changes, drawing and presenting from a holster, with a dummy round loaded in the mag practice immediate action on a stoppage, light manipulation, etc. Are you suggesting he should wait to do any shooting in his helmet until he's outside on a "tactical" range? |

Be that guy. Be like Amos. Do what you want to do and don't give a flying, hairy-tailed rat's ass what other people think.
Attached File Every public indoor range I have been to has many, many holes in the ceiling, walls, and even holes in the partitions that separate shooters. You should not only wear your helmet, but every piece of body armor you have. |

You most definitely need to wear your fucking helmet every waking moment of the day.
Base on you guys' most comments, helmet users don't bring their helmets to the indoor shooting ranges?
As long as you're not 300lbs.
If you're 300lbs and wearing that, you'll end up as an internet meme. |
If it's outside and I need to hear things like instructions I'll wear my bump just because my peltors are on it.
Peltors are awesome. If it's just at the range I'll wear muffs or plugs. |
How did you end up with your only hearing protection mounted to a helmet? That's bizarre.

Unintentionally funny threads are the best.
Don’t forget your drool bib, if you’re wearing your helmet. Sorry, not “drool bib”, but “tactical snuff overflow protection system (TSOPS)”. |

Maybe they will turn the lights off for you as well so you can train with your NV

If I saw someone wearing that to shoot paper targets, I'd be embarrassed for them.

You should definitely wear your helmet to the range. That you asked GD for advice on this tells me you should probably wear a helmet at all times.

Don't listen to the poors in this thread, bro. Why not get some practice in with the helmet on your head if it has integrated earpro? Who gives a crap what the booger eaters in the other lanes think. Most of them are just renting a gun for the day anyway.
I'd call this a humble brag thread but it's very weirdly executed.
Helmets on skinny guys really don’t work, you get maximum effect only if you’re 300 pounds plus.
