took your advice on the hogue grips and got a set of cocobolo combats. They actually seem to fit great and I think look awesome. The bottom screw wasn't in the package so I'm going to look for one today before I email them and see if they can send me one but if I need to I can steal one from another gun if I get a chance to shoot them this weekend Attached File Attached File |

Really enjoying my 686+. Recently added the Holosun which is fantastic. Only downside for me is that I'd prefer a little higher grip on the gun that what the finger grooves allow, but not a huge deal.

I went over a friend's house to look at his recently deceased father-in-law's stuff, that he was selling for the family. I swear, I only went to look at powder and such. He had a bunch of .32 bullets, so I asked why. He says, "Oh, that's for the .327's that he had. I still have one, this SP101."
And just like that, I bought another nice revolver that I don't need :) Attached File $650. He threw in 350 rounds of ammo and a holster for another $150. Showing up with only $800 in my pocket was a good move. I still need H110, which I didn't go home with. I have a problem. |
