Holy Shit.
It reminded me of "The Shining" The one with Jack Nicholson. Damn. |

I agree. I’m a huge fan of cinema and own probably north of 10000 titles (not a typo). Joker is one of the most disturbing movies I’ve ever seen. What gets to me more is the public reception to it as if it’s a run-of-the-mill super hero film and the way Joker is elevated to a folk hero. There’s also a very strong us/them, poor/rich, disenfranchised/wealthy theme that’s being embraced by people...kind of like the irony of urban youths hero worshipping Tony Montana from Scarface. Though I felt the movie was brilliantly done, Joke is likely to become the poster boy for ANTIFA.

Just watched it about an hour ago (joker, not that lame ass shining )
Agreed , creepy as shit |

Agreed. Normally I like the dark hero films like Taxi Driver. Didn’t really care for Joker. Just creeped me out a bit.

Haven’t seen it yet, because I was a fan of the other actor not the skinny guy. Guess you’re saying I should see it, I like some stuff like that.

One of the best movies I've ever seen.
But yeah, it's pretty fucked up. |

Wife and I watched it for the first time tonight. We both loved it.

one of the best movies period. I know a lot of people didn't like it but I think it's a perfect origin into just how fucked up he is and how society made him worse.

I get that it was disturbing but the most disturbing movie I've seen probably ever is Uncut Gems.
I saw earlier this week and as soon as the credits rolled myself and another person in the theater both let out a quiet sigh of, "Fuuuuu....." |
|
It seemed run of the mill to me. A little dark but not disturbing
|
|
I didn't want to see it
Im not a fan when they try to change the stories from the comics to create a different timeline or reality. But I watched it.... And thoroughly enjoyed it. Sooooo many questions though..... |

I just watched it 2 hours ago... I thought it sucked terribly...

He didnt portray the roll of the joker anywhere near as good as Jared Leto. We all know that Leto is the greatest actor of all the Jokers
