KFC still owes me four days of work and six pairs of drawers. The old Texas two holer is no fun.

yay textured soy protein fried in soybean oil, can't wait for my tits to come in

View Quote Not an ounce of testosterone in those boy's veins. Pushing soy-based proteins is only going to make lesser men than we already have. |

I'll leave plant based meats to you all. ???? And the fact this fake meat is probably going to be cheaper than the inflated cost of "real" meat...I hate being forced/coerced. Why can't these people just get their own Country? |

They should add some Beyond Diarrhea to their menu. Their food is not the Kentucky Fried Chicken of old, but fast food garbage that is guaranteed to give a person a case of the super shits. |

Last time I went to a KFC the food was prepackaged garbage. I will not willingly return - I discovered one of the local Safeway Supermarket's deli makes fried chicken FAR superior to KFC.

At least it was decent when it was actual chicken...I can't see their sales improving once it's nothing but ground plant meal...

View Quote It's been garbage for years. It actually makes sense for them to offer a vegetarian option so groups/families with vegetarians don't automatically go somewhere else. When you peddle garbage you need your garbage to appeal to as wide an audience as possible. |

It really is best that our betters are the only ones eating delicious meat at their pleasure, while we eat fake, reconstituted-whatever and bug pate' and scrounge out a living crammed into Mega City 1. I want what's best for that 0.2% that really does know best. Im glad to see more companies aligning with Left wing ideology to make this happen.

View Quote And the Big Club that we are not in will still be eating meat and poultry. Socialism is meant for the proles, not the socialists. |

Eating the testosterone blocking, xenoestrogen known as soy, might become a non-issue after we begin eating one another:
The Wisconsin Senate has approved a new bill that allows for dead bodies to be dissolved in a chemical bath, disposed of like sewage, and spread all over food crops as “biosludge.” No coincidences. |

If all the lefty faggots stop eating meat, that would reduce demand for it, and lower prices... right?
|

I haven't been to KFC in what 20 years probably. They are like TacoBell , shadows of their former selves. They were good back before then when their menus were about a fourth of the size they are now, before that Pepsico, yum brands? Or whatever conglomerate bought them.

Funny. I wasn't like "ewww... fake chicken!". I was like, "ewww... fast food!".

KFC knows their primary consumers.
They also know their primary consumers will not buy vegan chicken. This is a sad attempt to keep the PETA types off their back, nothing more. |

View Quote Should have been first post. Maybe the result of some tone deaf marketing research. Might be such a profit margin on it that even if it's not a big seller it covers itself and more. |

Quoted: I like how the vegan crowd which is all about eating only natural stuff wants to push meat with dozens of ingredients. LOL. Pretty sure if I make a steak the ingredients are just steak, salt, and pepper.. View Quote I’ve observed this phenomenon first hand….worked for a small non-profit. Office was vegan food only, no meat allowed in the building. 33 of the 35 employees were vegan. Most ate heavily processed food from boxes and a boat load of carb based snacks. They would occasionally cater in ‘fresh’ vegan food that was vegan versions of muffins, cookies, bread, etc. That shit just tasted like vegetable oil and sugar. The kicker was when the militant vegan CEO mentioned to me in a private meeting that she ate cheeseburgers on Friday nights. WTF? |
|
Quoted: I like how the vegan crowd which is all about eating only natural stuff View Quote I think you're confusing vegans with the organic/non-GMO fanbois. While there may be some crossover between the two, and they're both equally annoying; veganism is not about being healthy or natural. |

It was really only a matter of time.
They'd make some real news if they announced they were making chicken-based fried chicken. |
|
Quoted: It actually makes sense for them to offer a vegetarian option so groups/families with vegetarians don't automatically go somewhere else. View Quote Except it's not for vegetarians. They ain't about to keep a whole separate fryer just for the plants. Vegetarians/vegans won't eat plants fried in the same grease as meat. So it's really more for the folks who just want to cut down on their meat consumption, without eliminating it entirely. No idea how many people that would entail, but it seems a little niche outside of Kommiefornia. |

You can create fake, synthetic, Frankenfood, or whatever, just call it what it is, not what it pretends to be. I want the natural, chemical-free, non-GMO real deal.

". . . starting Monday for a limited time."
Wonder what that limited time is? |

I really don't get vegans
don't want to eat meat yet go out of their way to make fake meat then they try to claim it tastes the same. add in all the chemicals that have to be used to make it sort of resemble meat and there goes all the claimed health benefits of being vegan |

That tells me that even they really don't wanna eat this shit. Ultimately I don't really care, eat your stupid fries with your soy burger and enjoy it, but don't fly off the handle at me when I ask the hard questions you don't wanna answer. |

So, take away the actual healthy part of fried chicken, the chicken meat, and replace it with something else and bread and deep fry it? Brilliant.
