Quoted: I WANT to buy it, and try to have a couple dealers order it.... But on like the last 5 cool new things before this.... They only made a handful and aren't shipping more arrrrgggggg so you can never get one. DAMMIT. I still want a CP33 and a bunch of 50rd mags for it. To put a can, IR laser, IR red dot on and go have quit fun at night... It's perfect. But I swear they only made like 50 of them then moved on to something else.... I was at a gunshow last weekend and saw easily a half dozen CP33s. There are plenty out there. I have yet to see a P17 in person yet or I’d have bought it. |

Perfect timing with 5.7 at $1.50 a round and the brace situation.

I like it. Have a P32 in my boot right now and a suppressed SUB-2000 w/ my Inforce on it for the house gun. I kinda miss the CMR-30.
Hope it's more forgiving of magazine variances than the AR 57 upper was. It looks hinged, like it breaks open to the front. Maybe it comes out the side, but if it does, looks like it would have to pop out on the right, doesn't look as if there's enough room for it to pop out to the left. |

I photoshopped this together a while back, maybe something like it would be a bit better?

Why isn’t keltec a design house that passes production on to other, more capable outfits?
Cool ideas and designs, horrible production resulting in shit-tier firearms. |

I guess people can't try new things. It's either a new $1800 AR15 with some over-the-top cerakote with machined stupid gills or die.

Quoted: Exactly this. Used to shoot 2 gun against the Kel Tec assemblers when I worked for a gun company not far down the road. One weekend a guy showed up with his girlfriend dressed in boy shorts and a tube top. Ok, most ARF members would think this is a good thing, except this chick was covered in scabs from the meth use. This was common with most of the guys also, from what I could see. The guys thankfully didn't wear boy shorts and tube tops. View Quote |

Keltec is the only business I know of making innovative guns so far.
I have to say their ks7 looks really appealing |

Quoted: Last week, I got a box of AE for $29. They only allowed 1, so that's all I got, and at this store that is only about a $5 premium over 2019. If the reviews were decent, I'd absolutely buy one! View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Perfect timing with 5.7 at $1.50 a round and the brace situation. If the reviews were decent, I'd absolutely buy one! Yeah, I'm sure it dribbles in occasionally at a good price but have not seen a drop in months. I wanted a PS90 and could buy one at a reasonable price but missed the boat on ammo so have pretty much given up. |
|
Well shit, at the rate of 1 shipped a month it should only take a few hundred years to get hold of one.......

At the current price of 5.7, one mag would probably be close to the price of the gun, and about as hard to find.

That's pretty cool, but with ammo priced like it is now, I'd rather just use it out of a PS90, which is 3/4 of the fun anyway.
I guess if you had a bunch of 5.7 collecting dust and wanted a carbine-type thing to shoot it through, yeah, sure. |

Quoted: Why do you say that? Why were they not used by many agencies? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: P90 is the opposite of useless, best subgun ever. Why do you say that? Why were they not used by many agencies? Agencies are using long arms in an offensive capacity (serving of warrants, liquidation of lunatics.) For that the P90 does not offer any advantage. The P90/PS90's advantage is as a Personal Defense Weapon. Compact, great balance that can be used with one hand, low recoil, huge capacity. With a zero'd red dot, pretty much anyone could fire one easily - my grandma or a 10 year old child could fire one accurately. The primary advantage of it though is for a SHTF weapon where one is forced to leave their house. 5.7x28 weighs 6.5g, 1/2 the weight of 5.56 or 9mm. So you could carry 2x the amount of ammunition. The ammo is also very compact - not much larger then a 50rd pack of .22lr; 100rds can fit in the cargo pocket of a pair of pants; a jacket pocket could fit 200rds. PS90 with Red Dot = 6.6lbs 4x 50rd loaded magazines = 4lbs 500 brick of SS198 = 7.25lbs PS90 + 4x mags + 500rds (700rds total) = 17.85lbs |
