If it has been well cared for, sounds like a good deal to me. Have the local Kubota dealer take a look at it and give you an overview of what it needs.
Offer $4,000 cash and see if he takes it. |
|
|
Does it have a loader and/or come with any other attachments?
|
|
|
|
I would snap that up. Would be perfect size for me for a number of things.

|
Going to go look at today, will probaly get it, just for the simple fact I can afford this, and not too many become available for this price.
|
|
Definitely pay a few bucks to have a Kubota dealer look it over. You can likely download a manual which will give you locations of dipsticks and such.
Pull all the dipsticks and check the fluid. HST is great, but the fluid needs to be maintained. $2-300 at at a dealer is cheap lemon insurance. |

Check tractorhouse.com. it's got tons of tractors you can compare too.

OP updates his thread with pics. Winning, and a nice tractor too.

Good job OP, nice compact with lots of attachments and spare wheels. If you need more stability, you can move the rear wheels out. Make shure the hub is tight, they loosen up and cause wheel wobble. 1. Remove your rear wheel. 2. Your hub slides onto a hexagon(or other number of sides) axle. 3. The hub will have a pin that needs to come out, and then loosen the 22mm nut on the hub. 4. Slide hub into what ever position is required, making sure to line up with a pin hole. 5. Reinsert pin and tighten 22mm nut BE SURE to tighten the nut well. The nut can loosen up over the years and ware grooves in both the axle and hub. After that the Hub will no longer tighten correctly and will break the pins from moving around. 6. Reinstall tire. http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=1252&d=1268711725 View Quote Best place to purchase tires????? |

You stole that. The price was good without the implements. With the implements you REALLY got a good deal. Even though you need new tires. Get some ag or R4 tires for it and go do some work.

I have them and their great. Tough like a skid steer tire while providing better traction and less compaction than AG tires. |

I would leave those tires alone for a bit more, you are in the desert not wet nasty clay.
Doing your own service work is easy, if you can change oil on a car you can do the basic service work on that tractor. |

Dont know, but he is right about the R4s. I have them and their great. Tough like a skid steer tire while providing better traction and less compaction than AG tires. View Quote For a general purpose tractor I would much prefer R4 tires. That said, I can't get R4 tires in my Kubotas size so I have to use ag tires. I don't know for certain if the OP can get R4 tires for that tractor but I bet he can. |

Tire size
Front 6-12 AG 20.5x8x10 Turf Rear 9.5-16 AG 29x12.50x15 Turf I do NOT have "turf" to be concerned with, desert with sandy conditions. My 1800ft driveway is compacted nicely, so to turf tires on their now will work. But what I am thinking, if I get off the "driveway" I might have a problem with the turf tires. Already ordered filters n oil for complete service, eng, trans, axle, fuel |

I believe you have front turf tires sized at 20.5x8-10 and the rear are 31 X 13.5-15. Front average price each are $60 and rear are $300 Each. Double check the sizes I mentioned here match what is on the 1750. Look local and online for the lowest cost with most ply. I always went tubeless so I could just plug the tire if needed. good deal, OP.
you will get plenty of use out of that package. |

I've never noticed a difference in ride/bumpiness between R4, Ag and Turf on my equipment, on hard surfaces.

OP, show me a deal like this where I live and I would buy it!!! I do not worry too much about mechanical issues, as having turned wrenches for 40+ years, not too much that I can not work on.
I believe that you did good! |
|
Good buy. Had a B7100HST 4x4 and it was awesome. Traded it for a tractor that I sold for over 3x what I paid for the little Kubota.

Bought a used b6100 four-wheel-drive 32 years ago . all I have ever done is replace the seat put diesel in it and change the oil occasionally. 14 hp diesel 3 cylinder. It is capable of more than you think it is
