Quoted: You need to Karen the fuck out on your service writer. 1. It's a fucking oil change. Not an engine overhaul. 2. You will remember this when you get a survey from the manufacturer. 3. Where's my fucking truck? It'll be faster if I change the oil my fucking self. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: So glad this is my last “free” oil change at the dealership Got here at 7:30, still sitting here You need to Karen the fuck out on your service writer. 1. Quoted: neat bag. I should make a small bag to go with my brother's squirrel rifle. This buckskinning stuff is fun. I've got a leather flap that has the Colt logo lasered on. He'll like it. Can you show me the backside of the beavertail flap, the inside and the back? Is the strap one big ole piece of leather or two pieces joined by stitches or a buckle? View Quote I think I have a couple powder horns somewhere in my pile o stuff. Unless I sent them to SmokedBro with the smoke poles.... |

Quoted: Definitely the last time I’m going there for anything but warranty work View Quote It sucks going there and wasting half a day for an oil change. But, at least they have a record of maintenance on the truck. God forbid that you have any engine issues and they don't have a record of maintenance. They'll scream neglect and "You didn't use the oil and filter that was prescribed in the holy writings!!!" Maaaaaan...fuck those guys. |

...to the rear there was an ambulance with its lights flashing.
It was far back enough so if it had its siren going I wouldn't have heard it.... |
....Needless to say, as soon as the lights came into view, everybody accelerated so they didn't have to move over.....
.....As soon as the ambulance exited the Interstate Most drivers slowed to sub-sonic speeds....

Quoted: That was started with a polished horn. I have done raw horns (but core removed) and it's just a little more work. A spokeshave and a furrier rasp is used to hog off the extra material. Sanders create too much dust. Scrimshaw is easy. I did one at school with a nail I ground down and the soot from the acetylne torch in the benchmetal classroom. It originally sold for $225 at a silent auction and resold for more afterward. That one had the Sante Fe trail (with both the mountain route and desert route) on it. Go slow as there are hard and soft spots and you want to avoid skippings. Bolino is more artistic and I should take that up again. That's the style where you use a needle and a series of pin pricks ot create the image. Much harder on the hands but more aesthically appealing. View Quote I picked up one of the books on horn making / scrimshaw. Just need to make a scratching tool and get after it. Mike Bellevue did a couple youtube videos on horn making as well. Once I get into it I might bug you on here for advice though |

Quoted: We don't have dog doors in South Florida.... View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Thanks Namaah. I'd have to fench off an area then. When I had labs, they wandered miles away having fun and only came home when tired. I'm happy nobody shot them. I could get a dog door like my brother has for in/out too. We don't have dog doors in South Florida.... Because a pucking alligator will walk in |
