Its all a dream, I called Mattel, 1-800-524-8697 . They never made one .

Yes. |
Call adobe and ask if they ever made a program that alters pictures.
+1 |
Well, duh. |
I bet they get tired of all the phone calls |

You realize that photo was made by a fellow AR-15 enthusiast. He used to post on AR15-L and IIRC here as well. |

I remember when this pic was posted some time ago and folks said that making this pic was "dangerous" as it would fall into gullible hands and serve at photographic proof of the elusive Mattel AR.
I guess they were right. |
He also believes his name is Gomer Pile. |

I wish I saved the thread. He really thought he was issued one. |

The Mattel M-16 story.Fact or Fiction? i saw a MATTEL marked M-16 today!!! |

Me neither....I've been trying to order mine for years. |

And IIRC has regretted making that pic. |

Ha,ha,ha, that's great .A guy at work just told me he had one in the army.I think he said that the bullets tumbled.Ha,ha,ha.

Mattel is blowing it big time, they should just come out, claim they did indeed make them and make about 1000 commemorative mattel lowers and slap some old surplus SP1 uppers on them, they are passing up a real opportunity here...
I was issued one of those when I was about 8 years old I'm pretty sure thats when I was infected with BRD! |
Speaking of toys this one looks pretty cool.

Does anyone know where to find the stocks that Mattel made for the M16? When my father was in the Coast Guard they would always joke about preforming boarding operations with "toy guns," because the stocks had the Mattel logo on them.
The sad thing is that they could not make that toy today without all kinds of strokes and anerisms being had over it. Hmmmm, maybe they should make it. |
Mattel never made any part (plastic or otherwise) for the M16. |
I hope you are not serious. |
I hear the Optimus Prime version is worth an |
Yeah, I always heard the native canabis in Vietnam was really righteous... |
Don't be silly! Everybody knows Mattel never made an M16. The M16 was made by Kenner and Tanaka!
I thought those were only used for training. wink wink nudge nudge |
I call BS. That is CLEARLY a photochop. KFC never made A1s, just the regular M16s. |
i thought the KFC lowers were labeled:
SAFE, REGULAR & EXTRA CRISPY |
+1 My brother and I got a pair of them for Christmas. They were badass. One of my very favorite toys and the gateway drug to my BRD. |
In the movie Green Berets look at the M16 he carries and the one he breaks against the tree after the point man is ambushed.
I have all the parts for an M4gery build waiting at home. The lower is a mega, and the right side of the mag well is flat and blank, If someone will pay for it, I volunteer to let the mattel logo be engraved in it
Other than that, I'm open to ideas of what to put there. |
