It's like having a choice between two employees who both lie to you and steal from you while refusing to do any work. The only difference is that one openly hates you, and the other also hates you but pretends to be your friend.

In what world does it make sense to keep the employee who pretends to be your friend, as if he's somehow better than the mean employee that openly hates you? He's still lying to you, still stealing your money, still refusing to do the job you pay him for, and he hates you just as much as the other guy; he just doesn't say so out loud.

To make matters worse, he knows that you don't like the other employee, and takes full advantage of this by constantly stabbing you in the back and shitting all over you, knowing he can get away with it because you'll never choose the other employee over him.

It doesn’t matter which one you keep around, as they will both destroy your business and bankrupt you in the process. The only difference is that one is honest about their motives, while the other will do it with his arm around you shoulders and a fake smile on his face.

Saboteurs, con men, and traitors can often be more dangerous than the open enemy, especially when they have the blind trust of their victims.

The point is that shit is just as much the fault of the republicans as the democrats.

It’s easy to say FJB and blame it all on the current administration, but that’s simply not the case.

Culture is ahead of politics; one party thinks that drag queen story hour and performing horrific medical experiments on children is A-OK, the other does not.

We have already gone too far down the slippery slope because people have been willing to entertain Dems bad-faith arguments, but people are waking up to the fact that you have to reject the premise of bad arguments, and call the people trying to use those traps for what they are--disingenuous, immoral, unethical, power-hungry scumbags.

Unbelievable how dense some people on this forum are.

They will either not vote, or in some cases "vote for the Democrat".  Then they will whine and complain about a "stolen election" when Republicans invariably lose.

Just look at what elected Republicans have done recently with respect to the RKBA

- Constitutional carry in 25 states
- CCW in 40+ states, soon to be 50 with the recent Supreme Court ruling
- Anti-RKBA laws being overturned every month

Yet, the losers and doomers still complain.

You understand that the majority party chairs the various committees in Congress. Dick Durban is the chair of Judiciary committee. With  Republican majority Ted Cruz could be chair. That is just one example. I’ve made this point over and over but you have to consider the national implications of your local choices.

Ah, yes, the old Libertarian Party war cry. Which political party has garnered precisely one - motherfucking ONE - electoral vote in the half-century of its existence. And that from a “faithless elector”.

I’ve never voted for the Republican Party candidate in my life.  I’ve voted for the rightwardmost viable candidate, and they happened to have an (R) next to their name.

Anyone possessing even a passing familiarity with the American political process and brains adequate to pour piss from a boot understands that in the Primary you vote for your idea of the best  candidate. In the General, you vote for the best you can get.

"Don't enable commies?"

Voting against ones will, because its the expectation of 'the party' to go along with the collective, for the greater good of the party....is this how 'we' fight communism?
