Like an Enforcer or replica or is someone converting an original? The Enforcer was a sweet plane, they were testing it for CAS all the way into the 80s. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/177643/13b_dj2015_testflight83_live-642759.JPG https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/177643/Piper-PA-48-Enforcer-Mod-P-51-D-642760.JPG ATG Javelin was another high-speed executive jet that didn't take off. I think they're trying to market it as a trainer/very light fighter now. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/177643/Javelin_Jet-642758.JPG Couple of Mike Patey projects... There’s a partially built turbo prop P-51 project that shows up on eBay every couple months. Not one of a kind, but certainly modified. Volpar Turboliner. It started as a Beech 18, got a nosewheel, a stretch, and Garrett turboprops.
My first real flying job was in these. Attached File |

Mc D explored that too. https://i.imgur.com/wQMChuX.jpg Back in the 80's when I was a line boy, I put gas in more than a few of those. I remember the pilot trying to kick the tail stand out, after they loaded him up with carpet for GM, and watching him disappear into the freezing fog, for a flight across the lake one winter night.
