Clue, the movie. Granted I was a teenager when I saw it in the theater, but it bugged me that it was a who-dunnit, where you put together the clues as the movie goes on, trying to piece together who was the murderer. But each theater got a different ending, meaning the whole movie up to the reveal at the end was meaningless, as they just stuck a different ending with a different murderer, depending on what theater you saw it in. I guess it still kind of bugs me today.
View Quote
That was to keep people from giving away the ending. The non-theatrical version shows all the possible endings, then the real one. I would list Clue as a must watch. One of my favourites.

Yeah, I was going to mention that. But titties are just too easy to see outside of movies these days. It just doesn't make up for everything else

Hail, Ceasar!   I usually screen movies fairly well so it's rare I get a really bad one.  However...….this movie was soooooooo bad I had to quit watching.   Just couldn't stand wasting time.  Only one of a few movies I quit watching my whole life.  If a movie has some kind of redeeming quality I'll try to stick it out but this one was absolutely horrible.  This, after rave reviews from the "Hollywood insider" crowd.  Never again.

She did, Blade was one of them.
Not quite what he's talking about.

She made one XXX movie after turning 18 and it was made out of the country because the industry here was pissed at her.

Thank you. I don’t get the love for this movie in GD. For me,’irritating and stupid’ pretty much sum up this movie.

My nomination: Wanted

The Lawnmower Man screenplay was written and directed by Brett Leonard. It basically just used the title of a Stephen King short story. The Shining screenplay was written and directed by Stanley Kubrick. It was adapted for the screen from a King novel of the same name.

Stephen King film adaptations have been hit or miss depending on the filmmaker and screenwriter.

Good: Carrie,The Shining,Christine,Misery,The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Stand By Me.

Fair: Creepshow, The Dead Zone, Firestarter, Pet Sematary.

Crap: The Lawnmower Man, The Running Man, Silver Bullet.

I'm missing a bunch, but you get the point.

I really didn't think it was bad.

Worst movie I have ever seen was The Libertine.  Some art house shit with Johnny Depp masquerading as an A-list drama.  Then-girlfriend picked it.  New thing, didn't even get to make out or anything.

Worst- as in most boring and overrated.
Gandhi... Walked out of a movie theater in the 80's on this.
Sheena, Queen of the Jungle...even the incredibly hot Tanya Roberts couldn't save it.
The English Patient..My god, three hours of nothing happening
Legends of the Fall...one of the most depressing movies ever made.
Ishtar...just awful
Signs...Oh look! Wind! (Actually, damn near anything by shamalamadingdong)

And, of course, the epically bad movies by Uwe Boll (which may have been intentionally bad) They're so bad it's entertaining seeing just how very bad a movie can be.

Beavis and Butthead Do America-- I got dragged to the theater by my cousin when I was 16; still nearly walked out even at that age.

Grave of Fireflies-- the absolute worst and most depressing anime movie I've ever seen... holy shit. Just don't. You will feel like cutting yourself after that.

Lone Ranger (new version with Johnny Depp)-- caught it on TV one night; I'll usually watch anything but that was just awful.

The Abyss. Starts off OK, but quickly descends into idiocy. I have no idea why some people like it so much.

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai. I had high hopes, but it had poor pacing and wasn't nearly as funny/cool as it thought it was.
