Wonder how it stays charged if it stays in a safe etc for an extended period

Like it or not Holosun is innovating while Trijicon plays golf and lites cigars with 100 dollar bills provided by the sucker know as the American tax payer.
So patriotic, much brave. |

No manual override?
Bummer. Otherwise, looks decent. I'm sure Trijicon will release one in a year or two and people will rejoice. |

Ho Lee Chit!!! I might actually have to put a dot on a pistol now!!

Jesus. Trijicon, I sure hope you have something in the works. This is embarrassing.

Chinese capitalism beats American MBAs and lawyers, news at 11.

Nothing on their website, which does not appear to have any noticeable updates since 2020.
I wonder if they will make a narrower version for the 43x and 48. |

Partner with Primary Arms and make one with the ACSS reticle like my HS507C-X2 and I'd be right on that.
Maybe after another year or so of red dot shooting I'd consider it. |

Seriously, though, the fact that it is small enough to utilize standard-height sights for co-witness is a big deal.

I’ve really been hoping they’d mature and release this since they showed the prototype. This thing can really change the way handgun red dots exist. Imagine a flush fitting housing with just the window portion extending above the slide. Fucking titties.

Impressive. A green circle-dot reticle blended into the slide profile and powered by a system analogous to a Citizen watch.

Red dots I’ve had to send back because they broke…

Quoted: Its the cheap low risk labor that does the innovation? View Quote No. When it's really cheap to produce something it's easy to shit out products. It doesn't really matter if they sell as much as it would for a company like Trijicon. If Trijicon tries something new and spools up a US factory for it they NEED to sell or have a government contract or something. |

They've been working on something similar for years. I took this pic at Shot 2020. Direct MOS mount. Not a fan of solar only power but good on them for pushing new designs and ideas.

I just want them to start making SRO’s. It’s ridiculous production is so far behind that every single retailer is out of stock of them. I read the lead time for SRO’s is at 20 weeks. |

So patriotic, much brave. It's easy to innovate when you use cheap low risk chinese labor. The innovation comes from the US consumer and the feedback they get from them along with the testing and other R&D. ChiCom companies most definitely enjoy higher profit margins compared to their US competitors because of near-slave labor, cheap access to raw earth materials (with no environmental regulations or activists to deal with), and favorable tax climates. There's simply no profit to be had trying to compete at Holosun's usual price range. Consequently, most users will not buy higher-priced Holosun products and opt for more Aimpoint, Trijicon, EOTech, etc. That's been my observation at least these last few years. |

It isn’t solar only, the production optic does have an internal battery that holds a charge from the solar panel so it’ll still work even if there’s no ambient light. You just can’t replace the battery |
