I've been waiting for the official release of the APX, I'm pretty excited about it.
I like it. |

Looks like HK and Glock got drunk one night, fucked, then got an abortion 3 months later... and this is what they pulled out.

I was just going to make a comment that at least it didn't have "SLIDE-ZONE" written all over it... |

The aesthetics are kinda funky to me. I'd still like to try one (price will be important). I'm a Glock guy, so looks definitely aren't all that important.
I thought the PPQ was the sexiest polymer gun on the market, but quickly got rid of it after shooting the thing. Maybe the Beretta will have the opposite effect. |

Leave it to Beretta to put some shit on a gun for no reason.
Like hugely spaced serration all the way down the slide. Which neither gives you proper reward grip or forward grip. |

I like Berettas, but that slide stop looks like it's in the danger zone. I'd own a VP9 and a P226 if their slide stops were a little further forward. View Quote Not to side track thread but I had the same problem with the 226 and switched out the stock slide release for the x-five version, problem solved. Topgunsupply.com has them. |

Not sure yet. If it takes existing 92 mags as mentioned will be a huge selling point.

But aren't all SF pistols ugly (S&W is the best looking one to me)? It's a Beretta, it's going to work, I have no doubt about that. |

Striker fired - check
Polymer frame - check Squared trigger guard - check 9 and .40 - check "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" Sam Colt understood this. Smith & Wesson got sued because of it. If you want a Glock, get a Glock for crying out loud. |

Well, the "slingshot" guys ought to be happy with the new Beretta, at least.
Me? Looks like the mate to that Remington 887 shotgun. |

I'll shoot one and see what it's like.
Still haven't had a chance to shoot a VP9. I still love my G19 though. |
