Quoted: Meh, it was already illegal to finish an 80% lower in NJ. This doesn't change much (in regards to building guns). The old guns being banned because of not having SN's is weird tho. View Quote It's worse than that. You have a serial number but the serial number must be registered with a licensed firearms manufacturer. They also consider BB guns and muzzle loaders and so to be firearms but because the manufacturers aren't licensed firearms manufactures they don't have serials registered with a licensed firearms manufacturer so that's a felony. You want to sell it or destroy it? Another felony. |

This is their new tactic. Blatantly pass unconstitutional laws knowing that they will be tied up in court for possibly years. The law gets struck down and they just start over. Keep passing law after law after law.
I don't know how this will be handled. |

Quoted: @Grunteled Cmon man... would it be fair to judge Missouri and all of its inhabitants based on a visit to St. Louis or Ferguson? EVERY major population center in the US sucks balls. North Jersey (basically NYC) population along with Trenton and Camden ruin the state's politics. Nothing short of a nuke... multiple nukes... will ever fix that... but huge swaths of the state are amazingly beautiful and wild and have very normal, great people living there who despite the insanely high taxes and retarded politivians, won't leave NJ for the same reason nobody else will. It's home. Pretty much all of South Jersey is farmland, small towns, and beach towns. Hunting and fishing opportunities are exceptional. I've traveled extensively throughout the entire US and I can easily say I'd rather live in South Jersey than a whole bunch of other states. View Quote Every population center sucks balls. Some are sweaty unwashed balls that had shit smeared on them. That was Princeton New Jersey and my experience staying in and around it as well as to and from NY. I’m sorry. I experienced the place and the people I was working with and around and I left with a substantial dislike of of it. Even the accent there is like nails on chalkboard to me. |

Some in-laws lived there for about ten years. They finally escaped a couple years ago and now live in South Carolina.

Quoted: I don't know why this is news? Everything they banned by passing that law was already banned. Sling shots were already illegal. BB guns were already classified as firearms and required an FID to buy a rifle and a pistol purchasers permit for a handgun. So anyone willing to file the paperwork to ask permission to purchase a rifle or handgun was just going to buy a real gun. Ergo...BB guns were banned. Black powder were again already classified as firearms and you once again had to ask permission to buy them; so they were banned because again, anyone who was going the distance to ask the kings men for permission was likely going to buy an actual serialized firearm. 3d printing and building firearms from 80%s was already banned prior to that law because you needed to hold a manufacturers license anyway. No one should be surprised by this. Fuck nj. And honestly at this point, who the fuck cares now? Seriously, there's probably hundreds of thousands of Garands in the state. Are they going to arrest everyone with a Garand? The fucking law is unenforceable. Fuck them. View Quote But if you're unfortunate enough to be born there, and stuck there due to family, job, or house .. work on getting out ASAP. I kind of hate to say that because if we keep running away from blue states, then we keep losing ground. After all, we so often fault south americans for running away from their shit-holes to come here instead of staying in their land and fixing it*. But sometimes tactical retreat is the only way. *and let's be honest, there's only a small percentage who actually come here as "refugees". By far most come here to exploit the country's resources and wealth, with zero intent whatsoever to assimilate, and many will even return home rich, relatively speaking. |

Quoted: New Jersey is probably the last state in the union I would ever set foot in. View Quote I was raised there got my first two guns in the 80s the permit process for the first one was 6 to 8 months, that was just to buy a gun. The police chief from Guttenberg visit my home before he would issue it. Thank God I left almost 30 years ago, to Florida. I was there 3 weeks ago for a wedding hope that I never have to step foot in New Jersey again. |

So the penalty for turning them in is 2x that of keeping them? Dumb fucks just making more otherwise law-abiding people join the lawless instead.

Quoted: After the first felony the rest are free. View Quote It’s going to be a small little incident. Someone is going to stand up and a few will join. It will end in blood and others will come to help and this will roll across this country like wildfire. All of a sudden things are going to change forever. No one will be worried about where they carry or what they carry or how many rounds it hold or how fast it fires. It will be ugly and beautiful at the same time and there once again will be law and order. |

The point I have been wondering about is - is it even possible to get a federally licensed firearms manufacturer to register something that isn't a firearm by federal law?
Say I wanted to have a gun manufacturer stamp a serial number on a BB gun and register it as a firearm? Does federal law even allow for this? The state of New Jersey is requiring something that quite probably is not even allowed by federal law and they don't even have the authority to require it. |

Man what a dump . I hated driving through New Jersey. Felt you need to take bath after leaving the state. The same feeling you get when flying on a shitty regional flight, just feel so icky afterwards. I did like going to a steak restaurant called the Pub , in pennsauken . Attached File

I really miss the cheesesteaks, hoagies, Italian girls and beaches there. That said, happy I left 20 years ago. I'll go back and visit now and then but that's about it. My folks are finally looking to punch out as well.

Quoted: As Scalia put it, "a parchment guarantee" until people use the 2A for what the founders intended but hoped would never have to be used. View Quote Sadly, it appears that the rogues, tyrants, and dictators that the Founders warned us about are finally here. One day, a generation of Americans would be called to stand opposed to them using the tools provided to them by the Founders. Every generation has hoped it would not be them. The current generation hopes it won't be them, either. No one wants to have to be the ones to actually fight for rights, freedoms, and essential liberties that tyrants have vowed to take away from us. Everyone would rather watch sportball and eat Hot Pockets fresh from the microwave. The tyrants who are working very, very hard to push their toxic, anti-America agenda hope the people will continue to refuse to accept that they are the generation who is going to have to stand up to tyranny. If they refuse, the citizens are going to lose everything they have in ways that would have been unthinkable just 20 years ago. It's horrifying to imagine that such things are possible in America, yet here we are. There was a time when everyone agreed that the Constitution is the law of the land. Now we have those in power who disagree with that idea. And that's a huge problem for anyone who doesn't want to bend the knee to the New Autocrats. |
