SK are big boys. They have a GDP the size of Russia.
Fuck with their domestic politics and they will respond in civilized fashion. |

Why not do an environmental study of a nuclear missile hitting South Korea?
I'll bet that would have a bigger environmental impact. |

(snip) The office of recently-elected president Moon Jae-in said that a comprehensive environmental study of Thaad was needed and that it could take up to a year to complete. During that time, Thaad's deployment would be frozen as it was not "urgent enough" to bypass the assessment, it said. Thaad began its rollout earlier this year under South Korea's previous presidential administration, a move which Mr Moon has said was "regrettable". The suspension comes days after Mr Moon's office accused the defence ministry of withholding information about Thaad from the president. This new guy is screwing over the defense of his country. The new threats from North Korea are longer range missiles. South Korea already faces shorter range stuff, even old school artillery. THAAD way down South does jack and squat to mitigate that threat. It does, however, make it easier to defend US specific targets. Do yourself a favor and plot out the location of the THAAD units, Guam, and Okinawa, relative to each other and North Korea. Their President wants to open diplomatic talks and will poke us in the eye to avoid offending the Norks or Chinese.
Frankly, the US should pull out entirely. Their people have spoken. |

Maybe we should just pull our shit out of there and say we will watch and deal with the NK situation in regards to our country's own security from over here. Any dust up between the two Korea's is not our problem anymore.

This is industrial strength stupid. If the South Koreans don't want our help and our technology defending them, we should stop wasting our time and bring our people and our military assets home. Fuck those suicidal morons.

In a nutshell, the north pissed on the south and established dominance. |

Find the South Koreans with the most promise to contribute to society and bring them to the US.
Then withdraw from there entirely. Watch entire korea become best korea. Lisa Ling had her Inside North Korea Nat Geo episode on the other night. I feel bad for those poor north korean bastards. If south korea is too stupid to understand that they dont want none of that it is on them. My korean girlfriend repeatedly talks about how korean men are like over grown children and man childs that seem to be sheltered until their late 30s. |
