Will this mean the TRL-8 will be a single 123 battery 500 lumen with a green Lazer? Please?! *flap Attached File The TLR-4 looks goofy hanging off the front of my MP9c but it works good, the TLR-8 looks like it would be a much better solution. |

They will sell the crap out of TLR-8s if they come in at that price... They will to me at least. Just not from Botach. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

@gotuonpaper Found both at Botach at a lower price. (still not in-stock, this is just for a price reference) TLR-7 $121.00 https://www.botach.com/streamlight-69420-tlr-7-gun-light/ TLR-8 $195 https://www.botach.com/streamlight-69410-tlr-8-gun-light/ Just not from Botach. |

Quoted: @Kates This video has it on the P30 which has roughly the same rail space. The HK45c just has a different profile trigger guard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJnDf2x4C-A?t=55s View Quote |

Crenulated = serated, crenelated = notched. Both are better than granulated which was probably an auto correct in the first place.

Never heard of the site before, but just saw they have it listed at $119.94.

Well that confirms the street price will be ~$120
Really wish someone would take pre-orders. They are supposed to start shipping in February, which starts tomorrow... |

Was all in for a TLR7 for my Glock 19 but the price point for the TLR8 is very tempting.
|
|
|
If they pop up on Amazon I will buy one and see how it fits on the HK45C if it doesn't I can just return it.

placed my order with Botach yesterday. (i know i know) for $100. price jumped up $5 on both, TLR8 is $180 i think.

I feel like I should know this, but why does Arfcom hate botach?
I ordered some stuff from them several years ago with no issue. |
|
|
Unless someone gives me a good reason, I'm going to order one today.
ETA: Google shows they are pretty damn dishonest. I gather from the reviews that they don't have these in stock and likely won't ship them for a while. |
|
That is the assumed risk I am taking. If amazon, brownells, cabelas, etc. list them as "in stock" before mine ships from botach, im cancelling with them and going with one of those.
That being said, I've placed 11 orders with Botach since 2012, and they have never missed or had a serious delay in shipping. Ive never ordered something "brand new" from them though. |

MidwayUSA has them listed now for $129.99 with a in-stock date of 02/08/18

I ordered from Botach today. Must have been right before they jumped their price up a few bucks. But I’m hoping for the best since I called them and spoke to someone to verify they had hem in stock so unless he fed me a line of shit, we should be solid.

I ordered three from Botach on 2/2. I'm hoping to see a shipping notification this week.
|
|
I asked botach and they said Friday of this week they should go out. I got a label generation email monday i think.

Streamlight is good in my book.
My laser in old TLR-2 died. Light worked, but no beams. I did the online warranty form. Sent it in. Less than a week and I had shipping notification that it was on its way back. Recieved with new laser module. Cost for repairs- $0.00. My wife was so impressed that she said we'll be buying more lights from them. That is all. |

Got actual movement on my -7 from Botach. ETA monday. Will post pics and impressions.
...and if it doesnt fit my PPS, an EE ad. |

I remember those days. Incandescent SF 6P in a ring mount was the hotness back then.

Anyone have the TLR7 mounted on a Glock 19? Would love to see pics. I am going with either the TLR7 or 8.

Looks like a nice setup. Any idea how long the run time is? 500 lumens on 1 CR123 usually wouldn't amount to much full output run time. But its been a while since I've owned a TLR
|
|
|
Quoted: Yeah 500 lumens is not enough, I want a thousand. When you are down barrel of 500 lumens vs 1000 its a big difference. View Quote ETA: Sorry, I was thinking this was on a rifle looking through glass, disregard. |

500 is pushing it for me. Wake up in the middle of the night and try turning on your nightstand weapon light. Beige/white colored walls will blind you with 500 lumens.

Think of all of those people with their TLR-6 who will die at first attempt to use a miniscule 100 lumen wmls.

The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades.

Some people have had issues. They post about it constantly. As a result a lot of people are afraid to order from them. I am one of those that has never had an issue. The people who never have issues don't post about it. So there you go. Still, its wise to be careful and make sure they actually have the item prior to ordering. View Quote |
