The first clue that everyone should avoid this show like the plague is that it is not a retelling of "Watchmen"... it is "Watchmen II: The Sequel Nobody Asked For".
This show is going to suck. It is going to suck so hard the old golf ball garden hose analogy will lose all meaning. Black holes will envy the suction from this series. |

I acknowledge that white supremacist exist, I've never known one personally but they do exist.
I have no problem with a show as them being the villain, but I have a sense they will portray people that aren't white supremacist as such. |

Thanks for reminding me to cancel HBO.
I’m going to finish Bad Times at the El Royale tonight which I’m really enjoying. I started First Man but turned it off after 20 minutes. I got sad plus my brother wants to see it, too. It looks really good. And - guilty pleasure - Aquaman comes out this month and I kind of need to get my DC Comics B movie trainwreck fix. I revisited Justice League. Wow. I had forgotten what an utter piece of crap that was. |

I miss the days when literature and tv shows were subtle to their political meaning and folks could interpret them in a broad manner of ways. I come from soviet russia, my favorite childhood show was, as told by my parents, an attack at the communist party.
Classic books like Moby Dick had a surface story to entertain the masses, and the subtle warnings about humanity and society.
