I hope you can expect the best neighbor you've had. If not, give me an address and I'll come educate him on Texas ways and being a good neighbor to you. Won't take long.
If he's a true Texan, you won't educate him on shit when it comes to brisket. lol (although I've got to be honest, I've had some find brisket in Iowa and Kansas). |

The only people that love talking about Texas more than Texans are non-Texans.
There are at least 69 threads a day about it. Its kinda funny. |

Texas is definitely a brisket oriented mecca but Texas is more than brisket. It is at least as much as what the sacrifices and losses at Goliad and the Alamo stood for. Independence and resistance to tyranny were not just a cause but were paramount to the survival of a people. We as a nation, at one time, related to this. The sentiment has not been lost on many in the Texan (Texian) lineage. |

Little over a year ago we got a new neighbor who lives about two miles away. Yes a person who lives two miles away is a close neighbor here it’s farm country. Anyways the new guy stopped over and within 10 seconds he said he was from Texas. I have lots of family in Texas and this guy was obviously from Austin or Dallas. Bingo I was right Austin. The neighbors call him our city conservative. He says all the time he’s a conservative. Since he’s moved here he’s pissed about everyone off by being a Karen. He purposely moved out into the country were cattle are everywhere and complains that they stink and make to much noise lol.
He’s tried to get a Facebook group going with all the neighbors are on it so people can point out any problems. Most of my neighbors are old farmers and they don’t give a shit about Facebook let alone this guys issues. City move to the country and try to bring their big city shit values with them. |

What is it with members here that don’t even put a state in their profile...and then bitch about a certain state? Why not just show your state?
Hell, I live in Texas but I also live closer to some of you who actually live in Missouri than many who live in Texas. lol |

Ask him these questions:
Have you ever been to Hamilton Pool? Hamilton Pool is a natural formation and swimming area west of Austin. It has been a local swimming hole for decades. If he has never heard of it he isn’t from Austin area. How do you say Burnet? Burnet is a small town west of Austin. The correct pronunciation is “burn it”. If he says Burr-nett he is an imposter. Does he use the word y’all? How does he say San Antonio? Real old school Texans say San Ann Tone. Ask him if he ever saw Ralph and the mermaids at Aquarena Springs? |

Quoted: This. I have a love/hate relationship with this place. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: No self respecting Texan willingly moves to another state just to brag about how great Texas is. Our our weather sucks, scenery is harsh, cities overcrowded, no public land, high property tax, etc. This. I have a love/hate relationship with this place. Nah it sucks, nobody should move here But I actually do love it here and have found beauty in the secret areas, far from the cities. I actually welcome patriots who want to move here so we can fortify this land and keep it firmly red and conservative for many years. Hopefully outnumbering the libtards and the harsh weather, etc. will continue to drive the libtards out. But if I were to move or have a vacation home somewhere like Wyoming or Idaho, I wouldn’t sit around and act like Texas is better, I would be raving about the mountains and cool summer weather |
