I already avoid public gatherings and in Phoenix area odds are pretty slim of an armed attack running into my area.
I don't think the muslims are dumb enough to attack our schools. We literally incinerate all of Gaza before Israel if there was an attack on our kids by Hamas. If I lived in a densely populated area I'd consider keeping a rifle load out in my car |

Quoted: CCW everywhere but work and the doc. Situational awareness. The town I work in is a tourist trap, a target rich environment... View Quote Here is what might or might not have happened last week. It’s possible that…. Someone went in for an abdominal ultrasound. He was pocket carrying a Sig 365. The technician said please empty your pockets and remove your shirt. And pointed to a chair. Someone turned his back to the technician who was preparing the machine and not paying any attention. He unbuttoned his shirt and placed it on the chair. Then took the Sig out and placed it on the chair and covered it with the shirt. Then put keys, watch and wallet on top of the shirt. The technician was facing the other way and never saw anything. Another time this person was carrying in an IWB holster when a doctor said time for a rectal exam. Drop trousers. The doctor was getting ready for the exam and the guy upholstered and put the Sig in his front pocket and dropped trousers. The doctor saw the empty holster and said. So you carry a handgun? Is it in your car? You left it in your car? The answer was yes. |

Of all the illegals who have crossed the border only a small percentage are Muslim terrorists. Not enough to cause any significant damage to the US as a whole.

It only takes one AK armed Islamic radical entering a restaurant or grocery store to end your family's well being. I'll be open carrying today at a birthday party and posting myself near the entry door. It is at a local restaurant chain.
So did Biden's unfreezing Iranian assets and oil quotas effectively pay them off to not attack the USA? I wouldn't be surprised at all. |

Same as always. I carry all the time, which half of GD thinks is weird. The risk of Hamas sleeper cells pulling something here is extremely remote. Not enough people in one place for a proper mass casualty event.

I think our threat level from Islamic terrorism has not changed. Our individual threat is from the usual suspects.

TIPS TO HELP YOU SURVIVE
Wear a seat belt and drive defensively. Eat a healthy diet and exercise. Use alcohol judiciously. Avoid interactions with known criminals. Wear brightly colored or reflective clothing when walking in poorly lit areas at night. Have a yearly blood panel done, along with recommended age-based cancer screenings. |

I would say first just make sure you are armed when out, and be focused when you are in a venue or area with a crowd... Walmart, holiday festival... whatever
Lastly it's just a fact that if there are a string of these incidents in a short time there will be a panic buying run, and frankly that's coming anyway as we get near election time, ammo is relatively affordable now and you need to do the needful if you are in need |

You should be carrying lethal and medical now AND well prior to this.
You should have some excellent training for both regardless of whether or not you think you need it because you do, we all do. |

Quoted: Of all the illegals who have crossed the border only a small percentage are Muslim terrorists. Not enough to cause any significant damage to the US as a whole. View Quote Coordinated infrastructure attacks don't require many people or a massive amount of assets. Tank farms, LPG and NG sites, electrical grid assets, refineries etc, etc... Flying two planes into buildings full of people that primarily push paper changed America forever, taking out even a small percentage of hard assets that have a daily effect on how Americans themslves physically move, and how our food moves would seriously move the needle on how we do things and 'they' don't need an army to pull it off. |

The Wife and I and our adult kids actually had a family meeting about this today. We talked about situational awareness when out, particularly in crowded public places and particularly with the holiday season approaching. We also talked about our SOP for locking cars and the house when we go away and come home. Some of us everyday CC, others do not and choose to keep a Taser or OC in their car. Some of us are armed at home while others know where the Mossberg 500s are staged and have at least shot them before.
Crime is an ever increasing threat but I don’t believe we are on the verge of Islamic sleeper cells being activated. Frankly, Hamas/Iran is too dependent on the U.S. banking system and their friends in the U.S. Congress to risk high profile violent attacks within CONUS. |
