Update: I realized I was being flippant with my words/terms and was using DEI as a generic term for those who are not traditional members of the 2a community.
That was a mistake on my part and I’m well aware of the destruction that the DEI movement has caused. Again, I used an incorrect term and it was a mistake. I do not condone anything that movement/ideology represents. I’m sure there will be plenty here who will accuse me of backpedaling to save face, but it was an honest mistake and I’ve updated the title and this post because I was genuinely curious about the feelings of the hive when it comes to accepting the non-traditional members into the 2a community. I’m only interested in what the hive thinks about that idea. Ok, carry on. ————————————————————- Look, I get it. I'm a (old enough) member of the community that I can relate to those who have a certain reaction to certain non-traditional groups. And those that intentionally cause problems with their devious behavior are a concern to me as well. But all of the anger/hate/whatever you want to call it isn't going to change the fact that time marches on and if we want to keep our rights, we need to embrace their desire to be a part of our community. We will need them, and their rights as human beings to self-defense are no different than ours. Will there be a small set of subversive people who are there to cause problems? Of course there will. Some humans are scummy like that. But unless we embrace the vast majority who just want to learn and be able to protect themselves and their loved ones, we will lose what I feel is the most important fight to protect our Democracy. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion folks are by definition collectivist. The Fight for the 2A Rights are for the preservation of rights of Individuals. So there is a difference and we should be very leery of those F'ers.

This is not a democracy. Our rights are not up for a vote.
There is no DEI crowd. Not in the gun or any freedom loving community. The “DEI crowd” are degenerate communist pedophiles who hate you and hate this country. To them “white” is inherently evil. To make up for past injustice “whites” have to be underrepresented or better yet have no representation and minorities must be over represented. DEI is a part of CRT which is a Marxist ideology that says the only way to level the playing field for oppressed minorities is through communism. Equal outcomes, not equal opportunity. Prime example was the VCDL day when 20-50k people showed up at Va capital in Richmond. It wasn’t about who you were, it was about who supported 2A rights and letting the elected and non elected officials know that there is a base. Public rally and no one checked who you were in the public square.
