French people smoke like chimneys and eat shitty food
The reason they aren’t obese like the US is that they smoking keeps that number down It should be no surprise the French have lung capacity issues. Which in turn means Carona viri are going to hit them hard |

My son works for a large health care system here in Idaho, and was briefed yesterday that we can expect the U.S. to be 7-14 days behind Europe and whatever they're going through. One can read between the lines between daily updates at the WH level, on down to health systems and see plain as day that this is developing into a no-shit crises. Additionally, the death rate for COVID-19 is four times that of the flu according to the numbers that his employer is working with. He fully expects to be working from home starting Monday. People can choose to keep making excuses for why X amount of cases are in X country. In order to even begin to properly prepare for something you kind of have to believe that it’s somewhat capable of happening here. If you don’t believe it can happen, then why bother. Lots of countries have a habit of excluding still-births and premies from their life expectancy stats, while the US includes it. We also have much higher death rate sure to accidents, violence, and drug abuse. View Quote Like with gun violence/murder, removing one demographic in the US gives completely different results and paints a different picture.
