Great race - I'm in love with rain and the chaos it brings. Too bad the last rain was heavy enough to stop the race; it would have been great if it was just heavy enough to keep things going and all the tire strategizing that would have ensued.
LeClerk and Ferrari are just a shit show. For quite a while I was amused but now I'm almost starting to feel sorry for them And Sargeant? Anyone want to take bets if he survives the season? What a total bust he's been. DeVries probably did better than him and he's already gone. |

Leclerc need to make a push to replace Perez. Horner would probably be OK with it, but Max would probably veto it. If he sticks with Ferrari, it’s only for the money they are going to throw at him, because otherwise they don’t have anything to offer except more disappointment. Although, if he keeps crashing and making mistakes trying to overdrive a sucky car, his value to other teams is going to drop.

Snoozer of a race...
Rain was the only thing that made it a bit interesting, but once I saw Perez lap the field by lap 7, not much else to stay awake for. An RBR was going to win; just a matter of which. So I took a morning slumber. I thought by the time I woke up the race should be over and I would just watch the last 20 minutes on on demand. Woke shock to see the race was still on and everyone was sitting around in the pits because of a red flag for rain. Rain stopped. A Red Bull bolts away, some of the others go skittering, end of race. |
