Sad. Just another needless brother war that'll end after a few thousand young men get killed, and the politicians will still sleep in a warm bed afterwards.

Probably not lol. It's basically a .50 BMG which is 12.7x99mm. Of course the projectile type is going to play a big role in penetration. |

The Russian military needs to divert a big chunk of funding towards run-flat tires. Amazed at how many abandoned vehicles there are with flat tires.

I am very disappointed that most of the pictures are showing AK-74 versus AK-47. I support the 47 not really too interested in the 74. Oh well I'm just an old fucker that likes to live in the past. I still think the 7.62x39 is a superior round. Disagree with me all you want.

View Quote I like both, but as for the military, NATO went with 5.56mm, so the Warsaw pact went with 5.45x39mm. The rest is history. They Russian military still uses the 7.62x39mm in some squad machineguns like the RPD. |

By what metric are we measuring the two conflicts? If the metric is the size of the combatant forces it is certainly bigger. Russia has several battalions more than existed in all of Bosnia on both sides already committed. |
