Unless it was so fast that the pressure relieved itself by blowing the back of the gun out before the round could leave the barrel. What would be the likely causes? 1) Wrong round / 300 blackout mixed in? 2) Wrong powder type? 3) Wrong powder charge amount? Can you overload a 556 case so much that the explosion would be so fast the round didn't escape the barrel? A case head failure allows the pressure from the bore to exit the back of the case, which is kinda what this looks like. I see Mr G has offered to rebuild it, but I would sure love to know what happened. |

My 308 and my DMR (larue stealth barrel) has an MBT. My 14,5 lightweight has a MK14 and a G2S. My 11.5 has a MK8 and a BGRF. Each has it's place. I will say that Geissele and MI are my fav rails . I have never liked Mark's rails or those ugly ass stocks and grips. His stealth HBAR's and MBT is nice though. |
